I'm generally one of those people against Wayne because most of his radio singles aren't very good, but I've heard some mixtapes and older stuff by him I thought were pretty good.
Can we get some sort of list going for best weezy material?
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
You know I've seen a lot of pro Black Star/ anti Lil Wayne sentiment. I don't understand that. I like Black Star but Lil Wayne is a huge get. Maybe this explains the hipster resentment with Lil Wayne/ love for Black Star: stuffwhitepeoplelike.com/2008/02/17/69-mos-def/

I didn't really get Wayne until I did a little more research. When I found out he had Asperger's syndrome I realized that he is actually very talented.

Listen to A Milli and listen to Respiration. It's pretty clear why a lot of people think Black Star are better rappers.
The whole point of what I originally posted was the fact that if you are a fan of hip hop, you should be pumped to have Lil Wayne. I didn't mean to fall into a debate about who is better especially within the parameters of "this song vs. that song of my choosing." I also suspected hipster white man resent with the whole "Eminem is okay, Wayne sucks and where's Black Star?"
The thing I don't understand is that people are recommending or praising his mixtapes, but that is not what we're going to get in June. Tha Carter IV will have been released by then, and we'll be getting a heavy dose of that (bear in mind that acts like these usually don't play for longer than an hour).
Sure he'll dip into the catalog some, but NOT album cuts or mixtape shenanigans. If you want to give a newbie an album to listen to (don't take it from me I guess, I believe newbs should be listening to EVERYTHING, they're newbs...) tell them to wait for Carter IV.

Wrong. Wrong, wrong.
I can't find a ton of Lil' Wayne setlists online (guess there isn't a huge market for that kind of thing), but from a show he did at Jones Beach in the Summer of 2009, he OPENED with a mixtape cut ("Cannon"), and pulled out album cuts and tracks from his entire career.
Congratulations. You know how to do a Google search. Tell me more about these setlists and what we can expect come June.
and I will not stop hating. There are 6 acts in this entire world I CANNOT TOLERATE.
1-Lil wayne 2-Lady Gaga 3-Linkin Park 4-Justin Bieber 5-Hanner Montanner. 6-Nickelback
I dont see Phish on that list
I said I'm not a fan they don't bother me, a couple of their songs are pretty good. I think they are ok, so of course they wouldn't be on that list numbnuts.

Congratulations, you can barely read. I noted that I "can't find a ton' of Lil' Wayne setlists online," but here goes anyway.
From looking at that setlist, when he was right in the middle of his Carter III/ We Are Young Money tours, the fact that even though he was promoting TWO albums, yet still played a) mixtape cuts and b) older/deeper album tracks would lead me to believe that even though The Carter IV should be coming out this summer, he won't JUST play tracks from that album.
So I can't tell you what he'll play, exactly, but assuming as you did that since he'll have a new album out, that he'll only play stuff from that album and his popular singles, seems to be a fallacy when you look at a similar situation from a couple years ago.

You have now graduated from "searching for info" to pure unadulterated "trolling".
Who's deflecting? I try to comment on how people who don't like or aren't familiar with the music to wait for his new album. All I get from you is negativity. Who said anything about the G.O.P.?
Love that site! It puts my favorite genre in perspective.
And yes, I'm mocking him. He's possibly the most overrated artist in music today. No real skill set, more misses than hits on songs and albums, perplexing lyrics at times, and a noted poor live performer. He's full of gimmicks and plays the the 15 year-old suburban teen angst.
Rick Ross and Plies have the BEST entries on Snacks N Leno.
"I quacks pianos" "The car smells like blue cheese" "Does that lady-flower taste like water?" "Put that mayonnaise on your child"
For the record, I am a Wayne fan. Not a huge one, but he's my favorite rapper who gets considerable radio time nowadays. I definitely know his faults, but it doesn't mean I don't like some of his music. The first Tha Carter as well as some of his mixtapes are among my guilty pleasures.
