I just love how they switch back and forth between instruments, it makes me happy. And I'm excited to see them on a big stage, the Ryman seemed to small for them
I'm hoping to hear Antichrist Television Blues given both the lyrical content juxtaposed with the atmospheric context.
Yeah, I'm guessing we'll hear more than the usual 3 Neon Bible songs since they're not touring in support of The Suburbs, and they'll hopefully have more than the usual 1.5 hours. ATB is probably the one song I really wish they'd played when I saw them last year.

AF played a "secret show" in LA last night and they changed up the set list (or at least the order) quite a bit from what we're used to.
1. Month of May 2. Rebellion (Lies) 3. Neighborhood #2 (Laika) 4. No Cars Go 5. Haïti 6. City With No Children 7. Intervention 8. Suburban War 9. Wake Up 10. Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels) 11. Neighborhood #3 (Power Out) 12. We Used to Wait
Encore:
13. Ready to Start 14. Keep the Car Running 15. Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)
Personally I'd love to hear either Suburban War or City With No Children, especially in place of a song like Rococo which is already boring on record and certainly a song I don't need to hear live. Closing with Sprawl II is pretty cool too.

I wonder when the last time was they didn't do Power Out--> Rebellion. I've only seen them once, but judging by setlist.fm, youtube videos, etc., it seems like they've been doing that for years. It was probably my favorite part of the show last year, although I obviously won't complain if they want to switch things up after so many years.
They should always close with Wake Up. It was amazing filing out of Grant Park with everyone chanting the song last year. If there's an act I can miss before them, I will queue up for the pit. I wasn't close at Lolla as I was in the pit for the National.
"You look like you're listening to every note." - Lady to me during LCD's "final" show 2023: Mar 29 - Guster Apr 6 - Postmodern Jukebox Apr 26 - Father John Misty May 14 - Taylor Swift (Philly) May 17 - Robert Plant and Alison Krauss July 12 - moe. July 16 - CAKE (Portland, ME) July 28-30 - Newport Folk (#12!) Dec 8-9 - Goosemas!
this band deserves far more credit then given but im very pleased to see them win at the grammys. I am right behind u waiting in line for the pit. Been waiting for this show for way too long
The best Grammys I've ever seen.. and I freaked when Arcade Fire won
I kind of agree. Lots of great performances from all different genres.
Muse were great. Mick Jagger was solid. Mumford/Avetts/Dylan was unique and probably huge for the two young bands. Arcade Fire played really well as did Eminem.
I really dug the small song with Keith Urban, John Mayer, and Norah Jones (i think) covering "Jolene" and though I'm not a big fan of Gaga or the other divas (who sang Aretha songs) they at least pleased the crowd.

it's a HUGE moment for them. they seemed legitimately shocked when they were announced. It put a smile on my face to see how happy this award was making them.
also - post that youtube video in brackets like this to embed it:
I never thought I'd have the extreme pleasure of putting these words together in a single sentence, but...
I seriously cannot wait for tomorrow, when 2011 Album of the Year Grammy Award winners Arcade Fire are officially announced as the Friday night headliner for Bonnaroo's 10 year anniversary.
