So I know nothing about the live show of these guys........are there any songs from their albums that they never play live or have kinda stopped playing live? Like what portion of the show is from what album? Or is it always a toss up? How are their sets?

It's the first song that REALLY hooked me when listening. I've been passively listening to AF for the past few days. Funeral had been on repeat while doing stuff and now I've been listening to funeral and Month of May caught my attention a lot.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
I've got a bad, bad feeling Arcade Fire and MMJ will conflict somehow. I'm hoping both are on the main stage, one after another, Stevie>Jay-Z style. But I fear it will be Arcade Fire on the main stage directly followed by MMJ at Which, meaning choices will have to be made.

Worst case scenario I could see them overlapping slightly but I think they'll be one after the other on the same stage.
Get up close for my debut Arcade Fire show and step back for my dozenth MMJ show? Or rock MMJ close up as always and coast on the outskirts for Arcade Fire?

Pretty much every Arcade Fire show last year was 16-19 songs, so I'd say roughly 90-100 minutes. Saw them at Lolla and in their 1.5 hours they got 17 songs in with like a minute or two long break before the encore. Is it generally an unwritten rule that headliners get two hours? This will be my first Bonnaroo so I'm really not familiar with that.
Also, if they conflict with MMJ in anyway I'll definitely cry.

I could see Arcade Fire being booked for 2 hours followed by 2.5 hours (or more) of MMJ. That's waht I'm hoping for anyway. I'll accept MMJ opening for Arcade Fire but I know I'd prefer it the other way.

Yep, about an hour and a half per show.
The bands will not conflict if one's a late night and the other's a headliner, no matter what stage they're on.
i wanted to share this, can anybody help me with posting actual video instead of a link for my future reference. Im not a spammer, just not very computer savvy. Its an arcade fire video. I know tensions are high right now, but please try not to yell at me, im just trying to share. This seems like a nice enough thread currently so hopefully im alright
I hope you mean it is bad live by this. Cuz it was the only song at Lolla last year that wasn't really great. Just sounded like noise for the most part.
But I'm not a huge fan of the song. C'mon guys they have such better songs. But as long as you like Arcade Fire I guess that's good enough.
If you are just getting into them in order to enjoy the Roo show more, then I recommend getting into Funeral and The Suburbs because they usually only play 2-3 Neon Bible songs. But with 2 hours like expected they might add some more.
