Its kind of silly that people are still bitching about Kanye. He was a Summers breeze but people seem to forget that one of the reasons he was so late was because PJ went over their timeslot by quite a bit.

As most of us who attended pj's set will confer pj was much more apreciated and many more were there to c pj than this selfish spoiled little boy who attempted to play in an adult world . After all as anyone whos been to roo will attest that just being there is special hell its an adult version of disney world . So imagine getting an invite to play at roo would you act as a child or would act as the adult you were PAYED to be ? And after all this time RR said it best" kanye SUCKS !!!!!!"
I would have never figured out your avatar. It looksl ike a bullet shaped whale destroying an entire city.
Seriously? You don't know the Mario bullet? What's this world coming to?
I remember and recognize it now but I haven't played that game for probably close to 20 years and you only see it in it's entirety on your avatar for about 1 second.

Kanye's D-Baggery aside, only at Bonnaroo can you see Kanye West perform in front of a giant spaceship at 5:30 in the morning. And for that, that show will always be memorable for me.

I laid on the ground and took a breather in front of What til around 3 and then said fuck it and went to camp. I'm sure it was wild to see him up there in front of his spaceship at 5:30 am dodging flying pieces of trash.
I grew up worshipping Rock and Roll like a religion. I know its shortcomings and strengths but have loved it unconditionally all the same since I was eight-years old. I ran away and joined the circus and honestly, I'm still as obsessed as I was as a boy. I'm not a kid anymore but I still remember how it felt and it doesn't really feel all that different to me now.

Nah, everyone was very civil when he came out. Everyone applauded too for the douche that didn't even feel the need to address the crowd. It sure was an experience and sadly I still think his songs are catchy however, he gets -143490823048 karma points for the way he acted.
I actually had fun waiting for him. They played decent music and my group of friends made the best of it, ate a field of corn and bs'ed with a lot of people from all over the world.
I rather have seen Lupe and Talib during those times though so i'm a bit bitter about it.
Once he started it was a pretty fun show, plus its fun telling the story about how Kanye played at sunrise to a pretty large crowd. It's something that i'll never forget. I still think he is music's biggest doooouche though

Ya, but you have to admit that amongst the BS of that stuffed crowd that the music they chose was the most ironic anti-pop hop choices. I felt like I was going through hip hop vertigo waiting for Kanyeezy and JANE. never forget he talked to his spaceship my friend.
The best thing about Kanye was the reaction at Robert Randolph's set...the chant of Kanye Sucks still makes me smile!!!!
If I was Ghostland Observatory, I would find Kanye and lock him in a room for cutting their set short. Make him stay there till he pees his pance and promises NEVER to do it again!

I was there in 08 and didn't care to see him even then because I'm not a fan of his music. That is what is great about Roo...other options. My friend wanted to see Kanye so I obliged. Well after waiting and waiting and waiting, we finally left to see who else was actually playing. We waited about an hour, possibly an hour and half, and even then they were trashing the stage. I can't say that I don't smile when I see or hear Kanye sucks but mainly because of its staying power.
