If you had three months to travel with no worries about cost/work/etc, where would you go and why?
Maybe just a giant road trip all around the US. Especially if I could do it during the summer and hit up a bunch of festivals at the same time! Or maybe a nice long cruise.
Have you had the chance to check out any of the other films we talked about in the film tread?
How did you get your username?

Not yet! The only one we've watched was Moon. Although there are a couple things you mentioned that one or the other of us has already seen. But I definitely need to check out some of the others. Although first we have to watch Ghostbusters because I am a horrible person who has never actually seen it and that needs to be remedied.
Many years back I was trying to come up with a username for another site and I wanted something Beatles-related but also somewhat original. So I combined Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band with the Plastic Ono Band and got "plasticpepperband." I've used that on a couple sites, but on a lot of places it doesn't fit so I shortened it to "plasticpepper" which I actually like a lot better anyway.
From your childhood, what/who was your.... ...favorite Saturday morning cartoon?
Hmm, well my favorite cartoon was the Noozles, but I have no idea what actually aired on Saturday mornings. And then when I got a little older I loved the Nicktoons - Rugrats and Doug and Rocko's Modern Life and such.
Gymnastics. And then when I got to high school I really loved the Project Adventure stuff we did in gym - ropes courses and team building exercise kinda things. Being tiny comes in handy for that kind of stuff!
Hmmmm. Maybe my kindergarten teacher. Or I had several in high school that I really liked, notably my biology teacher, my orchestra teacher/conductor, and my Spanish teacher.
Umm...I don't know. As a kid I wasn't much into whatever was current/popular, especially when it comes to music. I was listening to John Denver and Billy Joel and James Taylor and Carole King and Carly Simon. Oh, I know, I loved Tweety Bird as a kid - he can count as a pop icon!

I suppose I would pick Fred Phelps's ugly and hateful wife. It was the "ugly and hateful" that really sealed her fate. As for how I would secure a victory, I think an army composed of all the people they've hated on would be willing to back me up.

Um, okay. My knowledge of this subject is pretty much limited to the line in "1985" that goes "and who's the other guy that's singin' in Van Halen?" And I don't even know whether "the other guy" in question is Hagar or Cherone.

Karma for this!
When did you first get into the Beatles? What album did you love right off the bat? What is your favorite now? Do you have a Beatles song that makes you smile every time you hear it? Who is your favorite Beatle and why?
Who is your favorite president? Do you have a favorite video game? What idiosyncrasy does your boyfriend pick on you the most for? Have you ever ridden an elephant?
If you won 20 million dollars and had to donate it to charities of your choice; what would be the top 2 recipients?
What little things make you giddy inside? Just something that makes you shake with glee. Something that you rarely express to people but it brings such a huge smile to your face or warms your heart when people actually do it... Name at least two, if you can.
Junior High. It was right around the time that One came out and my dad bought the CD so I was hearing the Beatles around the house and that's what got me hooked.
What album did you love right off the bat? What is your favorite now?
I guess maybe Rubber Soul was my first favorite - because it was the first one I owned. The only thing my parents had on CD was AHDN so I was really meeting each album one at a time as I bought them or got them as gifts; it took a little while to complete the collection. By now, I can't really pick a favorite, but Rubber Soul is still up there.
What idiosyncrasy does your boyfriend pick on you the most for?
Probably for being a picky eater - because not only am I fairly picky, but I'm picky in weird ways, at least according to him. He often ends up surprised by something that I like that he thought I wouldn't, or vice versa.
If you won 20 million dollars and had to donate it to charities of your choice; what would be the top 2 recipients?
Oh man, I'm not sure. Maybe the ASPCA. And...I don't know, I'd have to do some research. I wouldn't want to just pick a charity at random when we're talking about huge sums of money like that, I would have to either feel confident that the money would be used for good things or specifically earmark it and make the donation under the stipulation that it be used for something specific.

Hmm, things that people do? I like when people use my name in conversation...at least, sometimes. Sometimes that can be weird. I love when people remember little things, like remembering something I said a long time ago or remembering something about me that I mentioned in passing once or something. And I love when people pick up on things about me that I haven't specifically mentioned, like realizing that I don't like some certain food or whatever.
How often do you remember your dreams? Do you have a favorite dream? Why do you think we dream? Do you think dreams hold any meaning? Do you have any reoccurring dreams? Or any reoccurring themes?
I'd say I probably remember on average one a night. There are some nights I don't remember any, but there are also nights where I'll remember dreaming about two (or more) things that are different enough to count as two dreams.
Hmm, well, I have a favorite TYPE of dream. Every once in a while I get these long, sci-fi style dreams with a storyline and everything. Those are so awesome. Outbreaks of parasitic diseases causing zombie-like symptoms (that had something to do with a colony of giant slugs in my basement), dystopian societies where you're not allowed to talk without eating, stuff like that. They're so ridiculous, I love it.
Yeah, I do - your brain is most likely to conjure up stories and images relating to whatever you're thinking about a lot. I don't think every little detail is significant, but I definitely think there are some stories/ideas that are pretty obvious. And I think there's some meaning behind any recurring dream or theme.
When I was younger I used to have a recurring dream where I'd be standing on top of a cliff with my family and I'd fall off, and I'd just fall and fall until I eventually landed...on the same cliff. Now I just have public restroom dreams ALL THE DAMN TIME. I'm always ending up in these gigantic warehouse-like restrooms, often with no walls separating the toilets or only very low walls. Clearly my brain has privacy issues.
I guess the public restrooms are sort of a theme, but whatever. I have Bonnaroo dreams ALL the time. Most of the time they involve me forgetting to pack anything and/or forgetting to go to any shows. Sometimes the dream-Roo doesn't bear much resemblance to real Roo; I think my brain just likes to use it as an easy setting for dreams. I used to have a lot of dreams set in the house my friends and I rented for spring break in college. I don't think I've had as many of those lately, but I think for a while my brain just used that as the easiest way to get all of my college friends in one place for dreams involving them. And I also have a fair amount of dreams involving a scene where I'll start running and my strides start to lengthen more and more. Eventually I'm just touching off the ground and then soaring for probably a good twenty feet. Sometimes it eventually turns into me just being able to fly, sort of.
How do you feel about your state's license plate? What is your favorite license plate? How do you feel about American cars having European license plates? Have you ever seen Hawaii's or Alaska's?
Well, we're kind of in the middle of a license plate switch. I really like the old ones and hate the new ones. The new ones are yellow and blue and I think they pretty much look dumb on every color car. Although I do think I'm starting to get used to them and don't hate them quite as much as I used to.
Well, Florida has a John Lennon option that I love. But in terms of the default plates, the Northwest Territory's plates are shaped like BEARS. They're awesome. I actually saw one once and didn't get a good look at it so I was like "WHAT WAS THAT?!" And actually I think Nunavut has pretty much the same thing.
Yep, to the Anchorage area. We were there for hockey games and we only had a few days so we didn't have time to do a ton of sight-seeing, but it was still awesome.
finish this sentence, My favorite thing to do, after I get out of the...
Um...my favorite thing to do, after I get out of the car, is to yell "BONNAROOOOO" because that would probably imply that I am getting out of the car at Bonnaroo.
I don't necessarily remember what things were birthday gifts and what things were Christmas gifts. I once got a bike for my birthday, that was awesome. Um...I got a Mimi and the Googoos gigantic playset thing that I was super excited about once. Pretty sure that was a birthday gift.
Based on the schedule what set of 3 consecutive shows are you most looking forward to seeing? Which conflict are you most dreading? Are there any bands you are going to see at some other point this summer/fall that will relieve any of your conflicts?
Which day is lookin' like it has the least conflicts fer you? Plannin' on catchin' any non-main attraction acts (What/Which/This/That/Other)? Any Comedy Acts? Where do you plan on campin' havin' won the Scroga'Roo Scholorship? In GA or TO? Have you listened to the new record Celebration Florida by The Felice Brothers? If not, why? If yes, how much do you love it? Have you figured out your happy dance routine fer the Brunch?
What is your favorite Dinosaur? Why? If you were the main Character in The Life of Pi, what lullaby would you sing the tiger to sleep with? If I give you 10 dollars at the brunch, will you learn how to moonwalk?
Is there a movie that makes you cry/ or very emotional every time you watch it? What's the first movie you remember seeing on the big screen? It the Government forced you to shave your head and get a tatoo of a former president's face on the top of your dome.... Who would you pick? Do you believe in a thing called love? Front row seats for Nickleback or be Glenn Beck's personal assistant for a day? Would you rather have a Bush Baby or a Koala as a pet?

Hmm, I suppose Decemberists > Florence + the Machine > MMJ. Although Decemberists and Florence + the Machine overlap a little so I won't get to see all of F+tM.
!!! overlapping with Mumford and Sons really sucks, although at least I'll be able to catch SOME of both. I think the Saturday late-night conflicts are the worst. I would have liked to see SCI, Scissor Sisters, Girl Talk, and Gogol Bordello. Not sure what I'm going to do. I suppose I'll be missing Girl Talk, but I might have to try to see part of both of SCI and Scissor Sisters.
Which day is lookin' like it has the least conflicts fer you?
Sunday, I think. Iron and Wine / Cold War Kids / Gregg Allman kinda sucks because those are all things I would have gone to if there were no conflicts, but none that I'm desperate to see so it won't be too bad.
Plannin' on catchin' any non-main attraction acts (What/Which/This/That/Other)? Any Comedy Acts?
Thinking of maybe checking out !!!'s Sonic Stage show. And maybe something else on the Sonic Stage because I love seeing shows there. I'll also go see Lewis Black and Tim Minchin in the comedy tent if I get a chance, but honestly the comedy tent is such a hassle I very likely won't end up doing that.
Where do you plan on campin' havin' won the Scroga'Roo Scholorship? In GA or TO?
Not entirely sure yet, but I think we're leaning towards car camping. Especially now that TO will be opening Wednesday night; I'm not sure what time we'll be arriving.
Have you listened to the new record Celebration Florida by The Felice Brothers? If not, why? If yes, how much do you love it?
Um, I have not! Should I do this? I don't really know anything about them. But the brief Googling I just did has revealed that there are (a) similar to some bands I like and (b) from my state, so I will check the album out!
Have you figured out your happy dance routine fer the Brunch?
Not really! I have been practicing, but I haven't made any firm decisions yet. And I nearly injured myself the other day performing my "I got a job!" happy dance.
Does your capitalization of "Dinosaur imply reference to this: ?
If so, then I guess I would have to say the baby is my favorite. But if we're just talking about dinosaurs in general, then I've always liked melanorosaurus for being similar to my name. I'm also partial to triceratops.
Is there a movie that makes you cry/ or very emotional every time you watch it?
Oh god, pretty much any movie. I cry at EVERYTHING. The Lion King is one of the worst. And several of the Harry Potter movies - notably the 7th. I'll just say both parts, because I can tell you right now I will cry like a baby over the second half when it comes out. I bawled SO HARD over the first half.
What's the first movie you remember seeing on the big screen?
Hmm, good question...I really don't know. I must have seen a ton when I was a kid, but I really don't remember what I saw in theaters and what I didn't.
Would you rather have a Bush Baby or a Koala as a pet?
I'm thinking a bush baby - as cute as koalas are, I think they're pretty mean, right? I'm pretty sure I've heard that. I don't know if bush babies are any nicer, but at least they are smaller.
What is your favorite stage/least favorite stage at Roo? What would be your ideal Friday night? What is your favorite holiday? If you could eat one meal right now, what would it be? What has been your favorite album that is less than one year old?
What is your favorite stage/least favorite stage at Roo?
Hmm. I don't know, they all have their charm. And honestly, I can't tell the tents apart, I couldn't tell you which tent I saw any given show in. I really can't decide...there was a time when I would have said Which was my favorite, now I kinda want to say it's my least favorite...I don't know.
Going to a hockey game (that my team wins, of course!) and then going to a party with my friends. Or just hockey followed by hanging out with the boyfriend, playing video games and watching a movie.
If you could eat one meal right now, what would it be?
Urgh, I'm pretty well stuffed from the turkey dinner I had earlier! But ignoring that for the moment, I would like...a few samosas and sweet potato fries from Roo!
What has been your favorite question so far? Which question has surprised you the most? Where did you find the last thing you lost? Are you amazed at how inane the last question is?
