Based on this list, would this be the first year with no member of The Dead? I wonder if this has anything to do with the Phil Lesh/Kanye fiasco last year?

I doubt it. Phil was seen in the crowd for Kanye's set. I think the Dead might be a late edition (ok that parts wishful thinking). But I dont think there's any bad blood.

Just because artists are misspelled does not mean it is fake. If it is just a guy just emailing it to his buddy then it is just him misspelling the artists.

brett dennen is already confirmed...the misspelling is not what makes me think they won't actually be there. its just what makes me think that specific lineup poster IS fake, regardless of some of the people who will be on the actual lineup.
"It's hard to say whether seeing Kellz backed by Jim James and his lion's mane hairdo or Billy Idol rocking out next to John Oates and his soul patch was weirder to watch. Let's just say both were beautifully bizarre sights to behold."
Why have we not seen more fake posters this year...it's odd to me that we haven't gotten very many fake lineups till the day before the announcement...
There's no hip-hop whatsoever on there. I mean, Beasite Boys and The Knux, kind of, but none other than that.
Atmosphere?
Ah, true. I missed that. But last year we had The Coup twice, Talib Kweli, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, K'naan, and Charlie 2una. So it seems like hip-hop is under-represented.
Hey Team! I have very reliable inside source. I am close to the head of one of the Outsourced Jobs at Bonnaroo. My guy told me that Bonnaroo did not sell out last year. Not even close. Because of that they cut way back on Comp Tickets to help drive sales. All that being said Bonnaroo plans to come back strong this year with a Huge Lineup. So Melloashello's Lineup leak may be closer than we think.

I read an article agreeing with this and also saying that Bonnaroo and Coachella came nowhere near expected and that's why they are keeping ticket prices the same as last year.
What he said! Beautiful lineup, but no MMJ makes me so sad. I still hope to see Jim and the gang this year. If for no other reason than to see Jim and Badu sing together.

So, does anyone else think that maybe this lineup is actually legit and the bands we see here that aren't on the lineup are possibly upcoming additions? or is this just a composition of the bands that were added/quickly deleted as myspace friends and a list of bands the author hopes to be there? I know people were arguing that Leonard Cohen is not going to be there but none of these bands seem like a far stretch to me....
fingers crossed for The Allman Brothers, Fleet Foxes, STS9, Akron/Family, M. Ward and Holy Fuck. either way this may be the best roo yet!

just putting in my 2 cents...
Some of those maybe true. We know for one that Blitzen Trapper won't be there. In one of the line-up threads someone said they talked to the band and said they weren't going to be there. Nonetheless, I would die a happy man if Leonard Cohen and The Allman Brothers Band get added.
I read on another thread that Blitzen Trapper won't be there. The bass player's wedding is the same weekend.
Fleet Foxes said it was a possibility.
But if Slightly Stoopid, Modest Mouse, Black Keys, MMS&W, Atmosphere, and Keller are there... in addition to Fleet Foxes, I don't know what I'm going to do with myself on top of the initial lineup.
WHAT IS UP BONNAROO!? WHY DO YOU BOOK SO MANY BRILLIANT BANDS? DAMN YOU CONFLICTS!
I hear good things about STS9 too... never listened to them though. Any good recommendations?
