I live here in Murfreesboro, right outside Manchester. I just received this e-mail from my source. I also thought it was a bit top heavy but I don't think this is the initial line up, possibly already some additions?

And by the way, here's some of the things that make it look fake to me:
1. The order is off. There's artists too far down the list and others that are too far up. 2. There's at least one misspelling and another sort of misspelling...and probably more that I didn't notice yet. 3. The proportion of big acts / midlevel / smaller acts seems a little off to me, but I could be wrong about that. 4. Deadmau5 isn't actually the answer to clue #3, it seems....doesn't mean there's no way he could be on the lineup anyway, but it'd be an odd coincidence, I think.

Yeah, I don't think it is in correct order if it is the real thing, but my source has been right before and he sent it TODAY saying "THIS IS IT - I PROMISE." So, I don't know - take what you will from it.

Yeah, 70 artists listed there, and less than 5 names I know. I may know a lot of music, but even I don't bat that average with the Bonnaroo lineup.
melloashello, we all really want to believe that this is it. Is there any other solid proof or evidence you can give us? What is it about your source that makes you trust him/her?
EDIT: What has he told you before that turned out to be true?
Yeah, 70 artists listed there, and less than 5 names I know.
Really? That's the opposite for me. There are way too many bands I know on this lineup compared to bands I know on lineups that are initially announced.

In 2007, my source told me TOOL and the POLICE would be headlining. Last year, he said Zep was a no go for sure and that METALLICA was going to be playing along with a short list of other bands that would be attending as well. This is what he sent me today. I understand it is hard to believe anything anyone says when it comes to lineups around this time of year...but this is what he sent me. I was a bit confused as well by the order, lack of 'unknown' or 'unheard' of bands, etc.
But he has been right so many times before. I don't know. I should change the thread title, shouldn't I?

One more... the billing goes Medeski, Scofield, Martin & Wood.
However, I don't think a few incorrect spellings or problems with order necessarily mean this lineup has to be fake; it's possible it was copied poorly or at least informally from an official source. Still it does cast doubt.
Dude, I really do appreciate you sharing this news with us, but please, is there anything else you can tell us to help us trust your source?

True that, a major typo on my part. I meant >5 names I DIDN'T know.

Dude, karma. I'm holding back on believing just because I've experienced that great letdown when the actual lineup comes out. Can't go through that again. But if you're right or not, I'm glad you shared it with us. So karma for that.

I appreciate that. I just thought I would pass on what my source sent to me. If it turns out to be fake (which I doubt), then my source and I are going to have a little chat, haha. But as far as I know, this is it according to him.

I'm holding back on believing this because I'm NOT excited about it. Am I the only one? There's only 8 artists on there that I've never heard of, but there's only...uh....2 that I'm really excited about. And another 6 that I've sort of been meaning to check out.
