i would put daft punk ahead of the dead in my festival... in all the shows ive seen, i've never seen anything like daft punk at lollapalooza - just amazing
however, ive never seen the dead. ill have to wait until april

I could see doing it at your festival. But if both were on the Bonnaroo line-up there's no way Daft Punk is billed ahead of the Dead.
I don't know how much you like daft punk, but I'm willing to bet that after april 18&19, you'd put the Dead ahead of them too. I'm excited for that show.
IF it is in fact true that this is the list I will have to take a day off of work, because I will be absolutely useless. Dreaming about yet another amazing 4 days out of my year!
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!
the complete lack of comedians makes me feel this list isn't real but I would say atleast 60% of the bands are gonna be there that are on this list.
I read this entire thread to make sure no one had written this, and there two posts to the end, it was there. Great call. Why would a leak have only music acts? They keep the comedians and musicians on separate pieces of paper at AC?

I dunno. Right now I don't see that Daft Punk is touring. If they were to do a one off "pyramid show", bringing that across the pond for bonnaroo and bonnaroo alone, that could justify a higher billing. Also, Superfly might be looking to avoid a "back to back" Phish/Dead billing for fear of scaring off anyone looking to pigeonhole Roo as a jam festival. Definitely would get huge street cred for billing Daft Punk that high.
That said, that line up looks strange to me. I think we're going to be surprised on tuesday.
Yes...last year leaked...5 mins before it was posted to bonnaroo.com...and I was the one who found it! LMAO!! THAT was how close it was...up until then...the ENTIRE lineup had NOT been leaked...someone correct me if I am wrong here.....cause NO ONE believed me when I leaked it on meebo 5 mins before it came out...they all called me a liar cause I had Kanye and Willie Nelson and i forget who all else they didn't like..... LMAO!!
Now...EVERYONE was leaking about Metallica and PJ...but everyone was ALSO SWEARING that LZ was gonna be there ...and STILL SWEARING I had it wrong that it was LEZ I can't spell Zeppelin....... LOL!
detective got it a few years a go a couple of days early. Last year someone said that their dad worked for the security agency and found out that Metallica was playing. This was early on and everyone attacked him and told hem he was full crap.
no Dead, in any form. Nor is there any MMJ. I want a redo of the show that was rained out.
But Ghostland Observatory.... quack yes.
That is all.
it wasnt rained out. jim james was commanding the skies!
I know, I was there. I was just looking for any excuse possible for MMJ to be there this year. How many years have MMJ missed Roo? I don't think they should start making a habit of it now, it's just not the time.

the thing about Daft Punk is they are headliners. That pyramid show is such a big production that it would have to be on the mainstage, and when they played other festivals they were headliners including Vegoose, so since we think we got NIN and Beasties if Daft Punk is there it will shock me completely because it would be a very top heavy list.
If you can't wait 2 days, how are you gonna wait until June?
well, it always comes in steps. First its the lineup everyone cant wait for. Then its the additions. Then its the schedule. Then its the actual festival. So the festival itself isn't the very next thing on everyones thought list.
Being anxious for Bonnaroo is a very systematic ordeal.

I'll flip my sh*t if this is 100% correct. Hell even if it's only 50% correct, at the very least, I'll buy a ticket. Sooooo awesome...and I'm praying that Leonard Cohen actually happens.
Bands that I'd be interested in seeing...ALL OF THEM. Honestly, this lineup is top-notch. As far as must-see's, for me it's:
Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band Beastie Boys Leonard Cohen The Allman Brothers Band David Byrne The Mars Volta Modest Mouse Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band TV On The Radio The Black Keys Erykah Badu Animal Collective Al Green The Hold Steady Atmosphere M. Ward Okkervil River Jenny Lewis No Age Alejandro Escovado
"Disobedience, in the eyes of anyone who has read history, is man's original virtue. It is through disobedience and rebellion that progress has been made." Oscar Wilde (1854 - 1900), The Soul of Man Under Socialism
"You're either on the bus or off the bus." Ken Kesey
"When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro." Hunter S. Thompson
i will be severly excited if this is true, lots of good jam band and indie music and some bands i ha ven't heard before, add some awesome comedy, and it just makes me more glad i already got a ticket.......assuming its true of course
