i called Cruise America in Knoxville to rent an RV. The kind lady there told me that since they bought the farm, they will be putting in electricity and running water for the RVs to hook up to,maybe even sewer. She said it will be run more like a campground.
PS she also laughed at me and said that theirs and everyone else in TN RVs for the weekend of Bonnaroo have been booked up for three months now.
RV hookups is great news. Honestly, a good solid set of real RV spaces with water, power, and sewage would give you everything you need in a hotel without having to actually build that huge monster building, fill it with furniture and beds, staff it, and then deal with all the mess folks will make in it. We're camping this year, but I expect next year we will be looking to take an RV if they have at least water and power hookups available.
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed Fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio." -Hunter S. Thompson
ok so a lake would be problematic... but having some waterslides/ a wave pool or other water attractions would be so nice...
and yeah better mist tents would aid that...
water country bonnaroo!!!
HAHA... we have Water Country USA around the corner in Williamsburg, VA. Water Country Bonnaroo sounds like a brilliant idea for the hot summers... but corn and waterslides might be a bad idea.... OR THE GREATEST IDEA I'VE EVER HEARD! ;D
