Can not WAIT to see these guys. Was just listening to Lisbon earlier. From everything I've heard, they are incredible live. They could be this year's Ed Sharpe or Local Natives (even though they've been around a lot longer than those bands).

Another band I just started listening to recently and am really looking forward to seeing. Anyone have any recommendations for albums other than Lisbon? It's the only one I've heard all the way through. Otherwise I've listened to various songs on YouTube.
Fun fact: Just realized "The Rat" was on the MLB 2K7 soundtrack. I used to play the Leno out of that game so I recognized it right away.
Edited to add this awesome video. How cool is the drummer?
One of my favorite bands since I was 15 .. finally got to see them last year it was amazing! Glennron, if you've already heard Lisbon and really like it, I would start with their first album and try to listen to all of them in order.. if you have the time. Definitely get the first one though, Everyone Who Pretended to Like Me Is Gone (2002).
you know that 5-10-15-20 series on Pitchfork? Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig had a lot of cool things to say about Bow and Arrows in that. kind of cool.

I'd say this is a top five for me too. I've been pretty hooked on them for a while. Where do you guys think they'll play? I was thinking maybe a Saturday afternoon tent?

I actually hope they don't. I'm worried about missing that show. Last year the VIP show was Big Sam's Funky Nation and it was so good I didn't make it out to Centeroo until the XX were almost done.
I saw them in NYC in November at the request of my girlfriend; I didnt know much about them, but they put on a great show. I'd rather see them on Friday or Saturday late afternoon, but a Thursday night set should be pretty cool.

They better not conflict with Deerhunter. Holy crap, Buffalo Springfield is playing.
This band is pretty quacking incredible. Definitely gonna be the show I'm looking forward to most on Thursday. The xx's spot?
i thought the deerhunter cover was a nice touch.
and i'm not very good at guessing when/where artists will play at bonnaroo. but i would like to be able to stay at one tent, and just continue to work my way up to the front throughout the night. i could go for some DEER TICK>BEST COAST>THE WALKMEN>DEERHUNTER

I'm kind of surprised they are playing Thursday. I know they aren't really a household name, but I thought they were a little bigger than your typical Thursday artist. I'm down though, they will be a great way to kick off the weekend.

The xx were pretty big when they played on Thursday last year. Blitzen Trapper as well. I think The Walkmen will be one of the bigger artists on Thursday night and probably close out a tent.
I can't see Deerhunter playing on Thursday, though.

As far as potential conflicts for Thursday bands, I just really hope they're not at the same time as Sleigh Bells or Deerhunter. How about something like
Sleigh Bells 8:45-9:30--> Deerhunter 10:00-11:00--> The Walkmen 11:30-12:45.
No idea if that's realistic or if they go together, but I'd love to see it.
Edit: Only putting Deerhunter on here cause I thought someone posted they're playing on Thursday. Might've read it wrong or maybe I'm just making it up.

The xx had a pretty strong buzz that had built following the release of their album. The Walkmen are pretty different, having been established and releasing music, with moderate success, for about a decade now. Don't know much about Blitzen Trapper, so I'm not sure how the two compare, although I would assume The Walkmen are considerably "bigger."
Regardless, I'm excited about seeing them on Thursday night, if that holds true. There isn't much, conflict wise, that would interfere with their set, so I look forward to seeing them in a prime time spot.
