n addition to its stellar music programming, Bonnaroo will feature a dynamic host of national headlining comics in its ever-popular seated, air-conditioned comedy venue. Some of you are missing the big picture here though. With Fallon on the farm, it means he can't be taping his show that weekend. Add to that the fact that Public Enemy is playing and you've got a really good chance the Roots show up.

Just an opinion but Jimmy Fallon has been doing a pretty good job so far over at the Late show. The writing been very good so far, and he's had some funny bits (slow jamming the news has been hilarious) and some good guests. He's also been getting some pretty good guests. He's even (mostly) stopped doing that thing where he laughs while doing his bits.
While I might get smited for this, I don't think this will be terrible and I think he'll be pretty funny. Plus the comedy additions are looking great, some members of Stella and Human Giant (although while this doesn't affect his comedy, my friend met Aziz and told he was a huge d-bag.)

He doesn't tape his show on the weekend anyway. The Late Show only tapes and airs on weekdays. So, in the big picture, adding Jimmy Fallon is completely inconsequential to whether or not to Roots perform.

Fallon's biggest contribution to society throughout his entire life is giving the writers of Family Guy yet another person to make fun of.
Maybe it's actually a roast of Jimmy Fallon. An open roast. Fallon will be sitting on stage in a chair and anybody who wants can step up to the mic and say whatever they want about Fallon.

Seriously, what is he going to do? I don't hate him, which apparently places me in the extreme minority, but I won't bother going to see him. Will anyone else? Will he just play to an empty tent? Could be a great place to take a break in the ac if no one at all lines up to see him.
Again, though, does the man have jokes? Will his writers give him good jokes about corn and the like? Remember that cd he did? Ugh.

his show is just so....awkward. i feel bad for him when i watch it at times. i thought he wasn't too bad on snl but now he just sucks however if the roots are part of the deal i would be perfectly ok w/ it

Jimmy Fallon sucks plain and simple. The only cool thing he did was play the jerk manager on Almost Famous (which was not that cool). I cannot count how many times he ruined skits on SNL by laughing at himself. Really, the only competition Dane Cook has for worst comic all time. I know, Im bitter.
