im pretty sure it was that crappy guy running Bamboozle. And after everything that happened with that festival not surprising it was him looking back now.
I have no reason to expect or believe this but I would absolutely be thrilled if we got Stevie Wonder. I need to check him off my bucket list and hopefully back to back Stevie headliners.
My best guess would be Foo Fighters and the Killers
Sunday W1 & Friday W2 have to be some of the saddest single-day lineups Jazz Fest has ever produced. Feels like each is missing a real headliner and they look horribly weak as a result. The other days aren't too offensive tho; both Saturdays are strong showings for sure.
Not a Tedeschi fan? I think the real focus should be the New Orleans heavy weights that day (sun1): Dumpstafunk, Jon Cleary, Cyril Neville, Rebirth Brass Band, Monk Boudreaux...
Was there anything more to the Drake “confirmation” other then them liking the spoiler post or are we just running away with it?
I quacked up. I'm sorry. I thought the spoiler post was just an infinite loop of "spoiler posts" and I never clicked all the way to the end. I read on reddit that I was the source of the Drake conformation which I wouldn't have done like that.
I'm OG inforoo with a spirit that is true to the board. I'll take my hits on this one but it was an accident.
Unrelated to Jazz Fest here but curious if any of you ever do French Quarter Fest (mid-Apr 23)? We’re going to be there the Fri evening of the fest and flying out late Sunday. Just wondering if anyone has any tips for how to best experience that or if it’s really just as easy as walking around the quarter from stage to stage.
It’s a good eating festival with the music just being a bonus. Meaning all the music is great but the food vendors in Jackson square are different from the ones by the waterfront so I don’t stress trying to see certain bands but rather search out my favorite foods. Whatever you stumble upon will be fun.
What's funny is there's a decently popular edm duo called Two Friends, which confused me so hard when I started seeing "Two Friends" on this forum so much.
One guy with a laptop and then another set with a guy with a laptop.
Oh forgot the mention I'm getting married in New Orleans the Friday after W2, so this is entirely on the radar. The fiancé and I are getting in the Monday but I would love this lineup to draw us there a few days earlier.
PS anyone in town who wants to join our second line is more than welcomed lol
Sorry to inform everyone that I will not be attending The Hangout Music Festival. It will have been 8 years since we last went. Yeah we had fun and saw some cool shows, but I prefer not to be in Baldwin County whenever possible.
