So I just looked at the lineup to compare it to Rothbury closely and Chris Rock is now listed right after Kanye West. I didn't see another thread about this and am surprised to be the first to notice this. But how excited are you about Chris Rock?
C'mon roo, c'mon. Other festies pop up and steal your thunder.. and you announce Chris Rock? I mean hes cool, I might even see him, but how about some BANDS??

Oh wow look at that! I am seeing it too....hmmmm how unusual. Have they ever done this before? Just added one person and not tell any one about it? Ecspecially so high on the list, Idon't think I have ever noticed them doing that....sneaky, sneaky Bonnaroo

^well said. i still have yet to see anyone in the comedy tent cause it doesnt make sense standing on a line when so much else is going on. i would have loved to see attell and cross last year.
Good find. Chris Rock is in my top 10 favorite comedians. So now three of my favorite comedians are going to be there along with a killer lineup. I like how Bonnaroo is taking the comedy acts seriously, but it's going to make it that much harder to see everyone i want to.

I would love that but, yeah right...I think it's some weird sadistic pleasure they get watching us all stand in line for hours just to be told there is no more room.....they watch and they laugh at us
I think there was a blurb in either the initial announcement or maybe an article about the initial about an expanded comedy tent, or something to that effect.... i'll see if i can find it.

That is actually going to be a must see for me. Chris Rock is a very intelligent comedian, and I think it would be great to see what he does at Bonnaroo. He knows how to write to his crowd, and he's going to have fun with a heady audience!

I could see him playing at one of the main stages and people just sitting out on there blankets while he does his show. Especially since he is so high on the lineup, that would be different and kind of exciting but when would this happen and not conflict with a headliner. Perhaps a latenight of Chris Rock on Thursday to get everyone happy then even later some of the real late night kicks off and we all dance until Friday.
Ok, I've brushed it around in my noggin, and I'm def. happy with this addition... the thing is, this is the year of "Wait... what...?" for me with bonnaroo...
I hope this isn't our only add before tickets go on sale. Some of my friends need a big push to get their tickets, and this isn't it.
ok, maybe I dreamed that about the comedy tent. can't find it, but I agree It definitely needs to be bigger, and not just b/c of Chris Rock, but b/c it's WAY TOO SMALL!

The thing about stand up comedy to me is it's the same experience live as it is on the TV. Atleast for me it is, I understand others might feel differently maybe...
I come to Roo for the experience
That being said, I'm not too pleased by this addition... but it's not even close to enough to make me change my mind on buying a ticket
...imagine the door superfly just opened up for the next bonnaroo's, maybe some steve martin, maybe finally dave chappelle?, maybe eddie murphy recreating RAW...how sick would that be
