well, actually i go to see diff hip hop acts all the time because i dont expect them to be bad if there album sounds good but in my experience more of these shows are bad than good. plus most of the time i get free tickets so why wouldnt i go. i mean how many hip hop shows have u been to and have u seen any of them multiple times ? and how many of those shows have been above par
I really haven't been to more than a handful of hip hop shows in my life, but I guess I'm just really curious as to why you'd keep attending shows, free or not, if you're always let down. I'm not trying to bolster any sort of argument that Kanye is a great live artist -- just trying to understand why you'd keep attending if you're always let down?
All the complaining around these parts goes without question. I realize opinions are going to vary from person to person, but getting to the roots can be interesting!
so i lost karma for my kanye comment i guess i cant say good things about artists people arent on good terms with.... DAMN YOU HATERS STEALING KARMA....

it looked amazing. he was all glowy. there was glowies even on the violins.. i think it will be entertaining. he is smart this kanye. i think he will bring it.
karma becca!! People diss him, but this guy is truely talented. He has good taste imo.
I'll be there for his set, because I also think he will bring it majorly.. this is gonna be a first for Kanye too. He doesn't normally play fests like Bonnaroo.. nothing is really like Bonnaroo at all, and I think he's gonna up his game for his set at Roo.

The funniest thing is, looking at the original post, he makes it sound like he's not even going to Bonnaroo. So, like...why complain about how much it's going to suck if you're not gonna be there? And for the people that are going and complaining so much, why pay that much money if you're not going to be satisfied? No tiene sentido!

Can we at least put a stop to the comments about the size/durability of the stage being insufficient to support Kanye's ego. Whoever said it first was clever. Now it's about as hilarious as people doing Borat impressions.
i keep going simply because its a diff artist i dont think anyone ever expects a show to be bad. and with repeat acts even tho i have seen "artist" and it wasnt good if i get a free ticket or i just really like them i will check it out again cause the bad show might have been a fluke. and with hip hop in my experience it usually isnt a fluke

"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."

That is a matter of opinion, and you have already made your opinion clear, now you're just making yourself look like an ass.

Well, I mean, you would have to have known AC/Superfly's intentions from the beginning to know if they sold out. Selling out is doing something for money which you previously never would have done. Unless you're one of the original promoters, you can't really know whether or not they're actually selling out. Who's to say they didn't always dream of having a huge music festival with the biggest acts playing?
