Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I'd love to see Will Hoge back again. I had to miss his tent set in '05.
I caught all of his Saturday show and part of his Sunday show (was at Modest Mouse, I think). Such a great live performer -- I could see him on Thursday in the second to last slot.
ESTRADASPHERE I say! They'd be very welcome at roo. Rock/jazz/Klezmer/metal/surf/funk/gypsy/etc. They've been working with Secret Chiefs 3 a lot (who would be weird to see at Bonnaroo, but very cool... one of my favorite shows of all time). www.myspace.com/estradasphere
i agree. id love to have a hoots and hellmouth / will hoge / marah / jason isbel tent this year. so much fun. i was pretty worried when i saw him in charlston (wil hoge) because the new album is pretty soft. he was a madman that night. great set.
^^ I'll take BSS as long as it's not that "BSS presents..." crap. If your gonna do a solo record DO a solo record. Dont live off another band you were in... started.. whatever. They didn't do that for Apostle Of Hustle. Or any band on that roster, for that matter.

My vote goes to Something Japanese. profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=202779945 These guys rocked at Echo. They started the day off in a small tent and I had never heard of them before so I decided to check them out waiting for Tea Leaf I think. Anyone into psychedelic/experimental should enjoy.

how about some more ?uestlove? can you read that? too many ??? okay, seriously, i read something like Questlove has another band besides the Roots and Philadelphia Experiment, can't remember where i read this or the name of his third band, but i'd like to see him back...
I'm very excited. I just found out that one of my favorite Southern Rock bands, Cravin' Melon, is getting back together for some reunion shows. Back when I lived in North Carolina in the mid-90's their shows were the destination whenever they'd come to town! They were on the verge of breaking out but their ties to Hootie and a shake up at their label killed their momentum. Anyways, they'd be a great addition to the Rooniverse.
Mofro. Not sure if they are still considered unknown. In FL and NC they get around but not sure about the rest of the country. They are def not on the radio if that is "unknown." I would love it if the Avett Brothers were there.

Rose Hill Drive needs to come back and play bonnaroo. I think would get an opening slot in one the tents..... they definetly deserve it, anyone who has seen them live will tell you they kick ass.
Avett Bros. Mojave 3 Richmond Fontaine Gary Louris (used to be in the Jayhawks and he has a new album out that was produced by Chris Robinson) Black Mountain The Bottle Rockets Jason Isbell Pieta Brown Heartless Bastards Sonny Landreth Vetiver
Some of those are more well known than others, but I think they all would fit in at Bonnaroo.

I've seen them live (twice last year at Wanee and Bear Creek). They kick ass.
Ah...that Wanee show was the highlight of the whole festival for me. Sure it was only an hour or so, but they were firing on all cylinders and the crowd got bigger and bigger throughout the show. Good to see another RHD fan on here!

At Bear Creek, I was hanging out behind the fence before the show (thanks to the All Access laminate I earned working pre-fest set-up), enjoying a cocktail and watching them throw a frisbee around. For some strange reason, I can't really remember much about the actual show, but I do remember well the Wanee show.
