YOU CAN'T STOP PROGRESS POWER PLAYER THE DEVIL & ME WHITE'S FERRY LaCURANDERA MR. SHINYCADILLACKNESS ELECTRIC WORRY ONE EYE DOLLAR I HAVE THE BODY OF JOHN WILKES BOOTH THE RAPTURE OF RIDDLEY WALKER RED HORSE RAINBOWS
Pretty much guarantee that they will play the first 3 songs, plus #7 (Electric Worry). They've been showing up in most recent setlists.
Electric Worry was the song that got me to e-mail Clutch about an interview. I told the story on my podcast, but I was hooked from the first 30 seconds of the song. They certainly have a new fan in me. I'm excited to talk to Neil Fallon about his music.

And so it was that I, a wayward throwback to the Mesozoic, was enslaved as a circus freak to entertain you drunken monkeys. But Fate still had her twisted sense of humor and she granted me safe passage to sunny Florida, where for over the past 300 years now I have been breeding with an unheard of efficiency. And soon my progeny will rise up and say "Hail Draco, king of the dragon men!"
Definately Regulator, Gravel Road, Burning Beard, Big News I and II...basically anything from their self-titled album on is nothing short of amazing. I've seen them twice, and you will not wanna miss them.

I'm rocking to some Clutch right now. I heard some of their stuff as music downloads and decided to buy the album, damn its good. Anyhow, anyone seen them live?

my most anticipated set of the weekend (on the first day no less) i love me some Clutch, seen um over 20 times...
I just got Robot Hive/Exodus. Listened to all the songs once, and can't wait to share them with everyone I know. They are giving me hope for the future of Rock music. So how are they live? I read in some other post that they were underwhelming, but if you've seen them 20 times you probably know better.

I've seen them like 6 times (twice this year already), & I think they put on one helluva show. Most the band is pretty reserved (i.e. - no rock star posing), but Neil (the singer) has a stage presence like nobody else. One part preacher, one part rocker, & one part rapper (in terms of body movement).
Since you're digging "Robot Hive/Exodus", I would strongly recommend the CD released before that one, "Blast Tyrant". Also check out the new one, "From Beale St. To Oblivion".
Check the links above. Specifically the 4/20/07 show, as that is a fairly good representation of what we'll see/hear from them on Thursday night.
