Just wondering where everyone stands on the Bonflicts that arise this year. I've got to say, they did a great job of seperating the bands this year to minimize schedule conflict. Much better than last year.
FLips and Mule for me. Even though, I've got that settled already. Stanley and the Decemberists was a close second, but I already saw The decemberists at City Hall in Nashville this year, so it all worked out in the finish.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
im actually ridiculously pissed right now about the f**king SCI STS9 conflict, i mean WHAT THE f**k the 2 bands that i want see most. i mean, they barely have any jambands playing this year as compared to other years and then they put the 2 best on at the same f**king time. as iv said before im pissed/ ok now that i have read the entire schedule and not just friday, im even more pissed about the all the late nights fri and sat.
i guess, but i have tickets for sci at the beacon, but i also am seeing sts9 this sat and sun, but still STS9 is amazing. fuck, iv made up my mind though I will be at tribe
I voted for the Saturday late night although for me it's more about FLips and Galactic. I've see Gov't Mule a few times and will see them tomorrow actually...but FLips/Galactic is a TOUGH choice. I may be splitting time...unless I'm WASTED...then I'm just FLipping out

Ratdog/Wolfmother/Bromberg for me, not Perkins Never seen Wolfmother, saw Ratdog a 2 months ago and again in3 months Since I credit Wolfmother as the band that saved rock and roll in 2006 (there's one every year, thank God) I guess I'll never see Bromberg... aw well, could be worse, and I will get the very end of Weir at least, to mellow out after my get Teeth Shattered by the Wolf

Hey, Ill be at Freedom Weekend Aloft too, and Im definitely seeing the all of the Flaming Lips
Damien Rice vs. The Hold Steady vs. Manchester Orchestra Mute Math vs. The National vs. Langhorne Slim Ben Harper vs. Ween vs. Spoon vs. Franz Ferdinand (I'd like to see a thread on this one to see what people are doing) Kings of Leon vs. Hot Chip Wilco vs. Feist
as hard as the FLips vs et al is...I have top say the biggest for me is Keller vs Ben Harper. I hear Ben puts on a show like non other but I have been wanting to see both for the longest time...arg..decisions

I think the Decemberists overlapping Wilco is quite a nuisance... I really wanna see the entirety of The Decemberists as they are probably ending their set with Mariner's Revenge which would be sick with the Roo crowd
Without a doubt its that Gov't Mule v Galactic v Girl Talk/SashaDigweed v Flaming Lips late night. I'll be hopping around all night...
This is definitely my plan.
I am thinking start at Girl Talk, over to the Lips for an hour, pop over for a little mule, then to the end of Galactic as I predict they will go later than expected with all the crazy guests they have (Charlie 2na, Lyrics Born, Gift of Gab, Mr. Lif, etc.). Then I will finish with Sasha and Digweed as I KNOW they will play late late late night, till the sun cometh up. I like that plan, will it happen exactly this way..... I'd say 97% chance Heeeelll no, but I'll try.
While I've been 100% sure of who I'm going to see with most of the conflicts listed I'm very very torn about Tortoise and Richard Thompson. Been wanting to see Tortoise for like 4 years now but Richard Thompson is one of my idols!!! What to do what to do
"Disobedience, in the eyes of anyone who has read history, is man's original virtue. It is through disobedience and rebellion that progress has been made." Oscar Wilde (1854 - 1900), The Soul of Man Under Socialism
"You're either on the bus or off the bus." Ken Kesey
"When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro." Hunter S. Thompson

ok...my freinds and I were wondering about the Sasha Digweed set. It says till 3:30 or so but how likely do yinz think they will really play? Think they will actually go till the sun hits the horizan? I would love to see them and would love tpo see them play later then it says...so think they will?

not the biggest deal at all, but I took Hot Chip v Kings of Leon v Franti, but what's the Nightwatchman, chopped BBQ?
Hot Chip is the pick, I've been waiting to see these guys for a while. But Kings of Leon is the other "smaller" act that I def planned on seeing, and I would think some people would want to check out Tom Morello and his new setup.
As for SCI v Tribe, I'm sure lots will be bouncing from one to another, so getting a decent spot at each for 1/2 is prob def doable.
But if SuperJam is the TBD, then that's my pick for the most time.
