i voted for clutch and rodrigo y gabriela, but i'm really concerned about ben harper and keller williams....i mean i've seen keller once this summer, but he was so awesome.....i just don't know.....i just don't know!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol!

I'm just glad that I have no conflicts with Tortoise... phew, thank God. Also, it's very comforting to know that I'll be free of conflicts with the DJ Shadow set. THAT is going to be amazing...

that's another one for me , I also want to see the Brazilian Girls and Richard Thompson.
Ben Harper vs. Ween vs. Keller Williams vs. Franz Ferdinand (Spoon who?) in ranking of who I want to see most: Ween, Keller Williams, Ben Haper, Franz Ferdinand. So Looks like I'm off to see ween. Really wanted to see Keller though. Damn.
Also Wilco vs. The Decemberists (for a half hour) is annoying as hell. Seems like they'd have a similar fanbase. And seems like STS9 and String Cheese would have pretty much the same fanbase!
it's cool to see so many different opinions about the conflicts, i guess it means superfly is doing something right.
i would have to say the biggest conflict is SCI v. sts9, just beacuse i'm surprised it happend, but it's an easy choice for me - sts9... there's a reason SCI is no longer going to be, they've been going down hill for awhile now, imo
EDIT: actually the flips, gov't mule, galatic, girl talk, scott amendola is a real tough call, i may need to find a 5 sided coin...

I think the exact opposite^, i prefer the direction they've been going, thats the reason they are no longer going to be, Nershi isnt as big of a fan of it.
Mule vs Flaming Lips vs Galactic is the biggest conflict for me (seems to be the biggest for everyone else too). I'll probably just catch the first 30mins or so of FLips then head over to Mule for the rest of the night. I need to look at the schedule closer and see who is playing on saturday that would sit in w/ Mule.
The only other conflict I see is Kings of Leon vs. Gillian Welch. I'm gonna see KOL, but I really wanted to see Gillian and David.
im really flexible bc i live in a college town/ chicago as well so i can see a bunch of bands on the lineup eventually. But yeah here's my conflicts that bother me the most...
Mute Math /The National on Thursday (the national easily get my attendance one of my favorite bands, but mute math does put on a good show)
Hot Chip/ Gillian Welch on Friday ( I'll probably start at gillian welch, then go to hot chip and then stay for the next act below...)
Lily Allen/ Manu Chao on Friday ( oy vey this one hurts, ill probably do the same thing as Gillian welch/ Hot Chip, see about 40 minutes of both...we'll see though).
Gogoll Bordello/ Annuals on Saturday (annuals will probably come back to my college again eventually, and im really excited for Gogol's live show, gogol all the way).
In general, I'm very please with how this schedule turned out. The conflicts arnet as devestating as they were last year, and they add some flavor to the entire weekend.
It's more Flaming Lips/Galactic-with-every-MC-in-the-world.
And Friday night...it all depends on who's in the superjam. If Tommy Morello and ?uestlove are playing, ain't nobody taking me anywhere until they're done.
Franti vs Nightwatchman --- I was excited to see both Roots vs Lilly Allen vs Black Keys --- My girl will probably choose Allen Ween vs Spoon vs Ben Harper ---- Damnit FLips vs Galactic and great guests --- seen em both before, both r great
Junior Brown overlapping Decemberists overlapping Wilco overlapping North Mississippi overlapping Ornette Coleman overlapping White Stripes ---- just WTF!
Mute Math vs. The National (probably The National) Regina Spektor vs. Gogol Bordello vs. Annuals (probably GB cuz it seems the most fun) Ween vs. Spoon (Ween has already won that fight ;D) The Decemberists vs. Junior Brown (leaning towards JB)
and BF wants to see Kings of Leon but I'd much rather see Hot Chip, so we might be splitting up for that one...
Last night I was completely pissed that i had so many conflicts. i said to my s.o. that literally every band that I wanted to see had a conflict with another bad that i wanted to see. then i realized....they just have too many bands that i want to see. duh! i would have had to increase the hours in the day to fit them all in!

exactly, there are some crazy conflicts, but i just look at it like no matter what happens i'm gonna see a solid 20+ shows that are going to kickass, can't go wrong with that...
1. Damien Rice vs. The Hold Steady 2. Gillian Welch vs. Kings of Leon 3. Spoon vs. Ben Harper 4. Decemberists vs. Wilco vs. Feist (partial overlaps) 5. The Roots vs. Manu Chao vs. Black Keys 6. Old Crow vs. Dr. Dog
The only big one for me is The Roots/Manu Chao/Black Keys...I'm also a little bummed that Kings of Leon and Gillian Welch are playing at the same time, but I absolutely have to see the Kings full set. The only other trouble I will have are some minor overlaps on Sunday but that should be easy to deal with.
The Roots vs Manu Chao is the only one that makes me really upset. There are a lot of conflicts for me but those are 2 in my top 5 that I wanted to see this year. Oh well, I can always see 1/2 of each.
I think the exact opposite^, i prefer the direction they've been going, thats the reason they are no longer going to be, Nershi isnt as big of a fan of it.
yeah...nershi is a bluegrass man. As much as I appreciate the musicianship and contribution from bluegrass I am kinda partial to their other roots. The only reason they are no longer is because of nershi's decision to pursue more bluegrass type stuff I'm sure. To say that they are loosing it is crazy. If you've ever seen more than one cheese show then you know not one is alike. Miss this one and regret it for sure.
