Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Robert Randolf at Appel Farm festival on June 2, Les Claypool on June 3 (I'm still bitter he's not coming to Roo, so I'm including him) and Kings of Leon on June 7.
Just got back from Hotlanta a couple of hours ago....saw Godsmack at the Fox last night...forgot how pretty that place is. Not the greatest acoustics, but I was actually very impressed, I could actually understand Sully better live than most of the recorded versions! They are a much better live band than their CDs...my friend took me for my b'day present (she's the big 'SMACK fan) but I have to say I rocked pretty hard! They even did "I F**in' Hate You!" which is supposedly rare....too fun!! OK, so now I am really ready for more.....CC in two weeks, then on to 'ROOOOOOO!!!!!! ;D

Yeah, I really hope Nickel Creek does a midwestern tour sometime in the late summer/fall time, because right now, they're only touring the southwest/northwest regions. This is their last tour and I have to see them....who knows if they'll ever get back together.
In the last couple months (I'm to lazy to look up dates) The Shins, The Decembrists, The Killers, STS9, Cake (and others at a riverside festival), RYG were cancelled for INS problems and Tim Finn next week. After that I'm coolin' off and waiting for Roo! Maybe

I had decided not to goto the Chris Cornell show in Nashville (gotta save money for 'roo), but this made me change my mind: music.msn.com/chriscornell
I have no clue who is in his band now, but I really can't wait for this show now. Sure some of the stuff didn't sound as instrumentally (is that a word?) great as Soundgarden, but his voice is still great. I just wanna hear fell on black days, say hello to heaven and wooden jesus.
I am going to the D.U.M.B. show in Atlanta on June 30th and I just found out that PGROOVE got added to play two sets after them!!!! wahooooooooo party in masquerade park!!!
K i realize this a post-roo show but im still puuuumped!!

Welcome aboard!! I'll be there with bells on! (no pun...ok maybe a little pun intended ) If he does Outshined (almost a given) Black Days and All Night Thing I'll be a VERY HAPPY GIRL!! ;D

Never been to the park part of the Masquerade, but I've heard it sucks. Which sucks cause there are so many good venues in atlanta. I think this show would be better if Umphs and Disco Biscuits would play the Tabernacle and have Pgroove play the after party at Smiths Ole Bar. Hopefully the venue doesn't suck though.......have fun at the show!

All night Thing....completely forgot about that song, I think the TOTD album may just be the best album of the 90's. Never been to City Hall or seen Chris Cornell live so I'm looking forward to it.

Hard to argue on the TOTD issue, love that record! Not one of my fave SG songs, but his voice sounds in great form on this clip of Bulldozers and Slaves....makes me think he is really up for this tour!
Check out the video for Say Hello to Heaven on that earlier link I posted.....fucking great. He sounds so much better then the last time I heard him on a live recording.....that DVD from Cuba, he sounded awful on that. Seems like he's in tip top shape now.

Yes, that link is great! I watched a few, saved it off for later Want to check it all out! I agree, his voice was pretty thin on the last couple of Audioslave projects, the Cuba DVD and even Revelations. I think he sounds better on some of these clips than I have heard him sound since the first Audioslave record or maybe even before....
Just got back from the Chris Cornell concert in Nashville tonight- AWESOME!!! Any of you who didn't go because you don't like his solo stuff - oh man did you make a HUGE mistake!! He played for almost 2.5 hours - almost 30 songs.....and like maybe 7 were his solo stuff.....He did it ALL! And it was a REALLY small club, MAYBE 1000 people and I was front rail, maybe 3 feet from the stage! No more than 10 feet from Chris all night! 2 guitar picks, high fives all night! It was like a fr**n' frat party! Stuff I would have NEVER thought he would do....Jesus Christ Pose! Call Me A Dog! It was incredible! ;D No sleep for me tonight...too much adrenaline!
