20 percent faster, thats pretty good, anyone remember how long it took them to sell out last year so we could estimate when they'd sell out this year? I have 2 friends who haven't gotten their tickets yet.
People here have said they sold out about a week before the festival last year, though I don't personally know that for sure. I don't think we know how many tickets they're going to sell total this year, either, so that, plus the 20% faster, plus however many early bird tickets got sold, means I'd bet they're going to sell out well before they did last year.
All this talk of les or primus, has everyone forgotten the quest for festeroo..thats right no one even thought about the fact that Electric Apricot might make an apperance, they are playing in Austin,tx on march 15.could we see them at roo???????

dunno if anyone's mentioned it yet but it seems like there's a chance Blues Traveler will be added as they have a show in kansas city on May 18th and then nothing until a show in Norfolk on june 23rd
Blues Traveler would be a nice addition. I really liked their show last year. Also, the Lewis Black video on the 'Roo website shows Lew at the BT show - The comedy tent was next door and I think Lew's show was around the same time.

i really dug the Blues Traveler show last year, they played to the crowd with a bunch of favorites. It was kinda nice to hear all the old stuff to because I hadn't seen them since the Horde days in the late 90's, they were fun little mini festivals.

Blues traveller is such a fun live show, they are one of those ones that are great as an afternoon tent... Hell yeah.
^^It's weird because Cee-Lo is a highly entertaining rapper. But he's definitely trying to strike a pose with his Gnarls Barkley persona. It's interesting especially given the hip/hop communities current lack of artists willing to try something different. That said, I'm sort of beginning to turn on my previous opinion against them performing at Bonnaroo. I think if they did, they would probably do something special.
That said, I don't see it happening. I think both guys are probably already moving onto other projects.

I saw GB at Virgin; they all came out dressed like Trojan soldiers. That was funny, and also probably the highlight of the show. They didn't really "bring it", and Cee-lo was weak, he seemed to be trying too hard to exert his stage personality. It wasn't a terrible show, but I wouldn't say it was "good" either. Danger Mouse was cool . . .
Back to the topic, I had a dream last night that we got a round of additions, I believe it was a Wednesday in my dream . . . sadly, I woke up when I clicked on the link.

I seem to remember hearing or reading something recently about them working on new songs.

The last thing either one of those guys need to do is tie them down with Gnarls. I liked the album, but as a side project. Both guys have done better things imo. They should move on for awhile and treat it like Gibbard and Tamborello do with the Postal Service.
I could see their schtick getting stale if overdone.
