the song "the Shat" did with Joe Jackson gets serious play time from me. It's called "Common People" or something like that. It's a cover I think, b/c I heard it from someone else on XM. Can't remember who though.
Maybe what I heard on XM was a cover of the Shat.
And Bo Bice sang a couple songs with Galactic a two years ago. I had no idea who it was 'til I got home and found out online.

Friday: Richard Marx Saturday: NKOTB Reunion Sunday: Big and Rich w/ special guest Cowboy Troy
Supporting Acts: Will Smith (Solo), Shakira, Debbie Gibson, Don Johnson, 69 Boyz, Lil' Jon, Gerardo, Belinda Carlisle, Destiny's Child, Los Del Rio, TLC, Enya, Tiffany, Paperboy, and Boy George
You know, I was so high on my first Bonnaroo experience that I thought it was downright great at the time, but in hindsight... yeah, that was kinda weird. I only knew who he was because my parents are dedicated Idol fans (please forgive them, they know not what they do) and I was excited to tell them I got to see one of their favorites.

I had no clue who he was at the time, but around the time he came out I bailed from that show after sitting in the same place for 3 hours to get a good spot. If you would have told me before that I would leave a trey show early, I would have said you were crazy, but it was just bad, I can't even put my finger on what sucked so bad about it, but Bo Bice should be a clue.
i agree with nickelback. a lead singer with noodle hair? the rest of the lineup would include any of the following, black-sabbath, pantera with or without doushebag darrell, the bacon brothers, yung joc, yung dro, yung jeezy, yung buck, lil wayne, birdman, rancid, dead kennedys, and last but not least reba macintre
note.... sorry for those metalheads, and corner dwellers i may have offended

^^^whoa, whoa, whoa!....please refrain from adding black sabbath, or pantera to this list, black sabbath defined metal for the world, and pantera essentially defined modern metal. these are two bands most metal heads hold very high. also, the dead kennedys and rancid? seriously, these bands may not be roo material, but they sure as fuck don't need to be lumped in with a bunch of shit-tacular rap. they both are great bands in their own ways.

Music wouldn't be where it is today without black sabbath, have you ever even heard any of their music, i assume not. Also, dimebag darrells dead, so way to just be a shi*tty person.

i really hate karma smiting but dimebag? man he was all about having fun and playing badass music. i could see why people hated phil anselmo, but dime was all smiles and laughs
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

Corner dwellers? Was that for the Rancid fans? What's that all about? First of all, Rancid would be an awesome add for Bonnaroo, they are great 90s ska/punk, albeit recent material has not been as good, they are still legit man. Learn your music before you start running your mouth. I've been listening to Metal bands and Rancid for years, and I don't dwell in corners, I don't wear all black, and I'm actually very social, drop the stereotypes.

Back to the topic at hand, John Mellencamp would have to be there.
I know he has done some good stuff in his early days (although I really can't stand Jack and Diane anymore), but have you listened to him recently? Aside from that horrible "This is our country" commerical, the other stuff is just as bad. He was on Leno last night, terrible, just terrible.

yeh Mellencamp has gone downhill. I saw him last summer with John Fogerty...Fogerty put on an amazing show while Mellencamp was disappointing and mediocre.
Any festival with Nickelback would be the worst, because Nickelback is one of the worst bands ever.
