That would be beyond intense man. You'd have to do something like a 12-6 kind of slot for all of that though. You give Primus two hours, two hours for Tom Waits (including setup) and then Mars Volta from whenever on. It'll never happen, but that would be the kind of risk you wish Bonnaroo would take.

^^^That's what I see as problematic with that idea as well. Since late night shows are never scheduled to go past 4, they wouldn't try to fit 3 major acts in that much time. Remember that they'd need a bare minimum of 1/2 hour between each act in order for stage setup. As awesome as it all would be, it's just not doable. I could see a late night Which Stage lineup of Tom Waits (12-1:30) > Primus (2-4), that seems a lot more like what Superfly would do.

Absolutly. Im just letting my imagination run wild here. If Tom plays this year and they throw him in the kind of slot that Elvis Costello had last year Ill be angry. I could see them making the mistake of putting Tom on at 4ish on the Main Stage.
I'd also rather see Primus on the main stage. Les can definetly keep a few thousand people going, but not like he can with Herb and Ler behind him.

I agree, stuckinutero. As I've said before, the only spots I see Waits doing is a pre-headliner on the main stage, closing out the second stage, or a late night show (clearly the optimal choice).

Id be really aggrivated if they put him on while the suns still up. I dont care where he plays. I dont care if he stands on my roof and starts a rendition of the one that got away, just as long as the suns down. I would kill to see this guy with a head full of..... love and happiness?
