*it should be noted that I felt that 05 was a better run festival than 02, 03, and 04, but I had more fun musically those years compared to 05. Though, 2005 was the best weather we've had yet at Bonnaroo, and 2004 was definitely the worst.

Two. '04 and '06.

I liked '06 better for a few various reasons, one of which was that I was with friends as opposed to by myself, like I was in '04.

I've been to three (2004, 2005 & 2006). I had tickets to Bonnaroo NE in 03 but it got cancelled and the '03 Manchester show had sold out so I was SOL that year!

I'd rank them:

2005 (loved the bands, loved the weather, got together w/my girlfriend)
2006 (good bands, good weather, good friends)
2004 (had a great time but was pretty drunk and didn't catch that much music. Roo-kie mistake!)

I can't say what my favorite year was. They were all great for different reasons.

04 and 06 for me. 04 was my first time and I made alot of mistakes which took away from the overall experience. Last year was unbelievable. From the music, to the weather, to my own preparation and longevity(pats self on back).

I only went to 06. But, I think 07 will be better, now that I know what to expect and how to do it right.

I'm in the same boat. I had a blast my first time last year, but I committed all the rookie mistakes and ended up seeing half the shows I wanted to cause I was sick/hung over/tired (depending on the day). If I go back this year, I'm guessing I'd fair considerably better.

this summer will be my 6th! proud to be apart of it year after year. i loved 2005's line-up the most...but i had more fun at 2006.

this year will be my 4th. i have enjoyed all of them. but id say 06 was the best. the previous 2 years were just spent in amazement. but last year we got right up close. and i saw an insane amount of music. in 04 i saw like 8 shows. wit the heat and the rain and the 40 minute walk to centeroo. 05 was nice. right up front. nice weather. but still only saw like 12 shows. and 2 nights of wsp didnt do much for me. last year we did as much as is humanly possible. and saw my 3 favorite roo shows ever. umph bisco/ radiohead/phil and firends....... with grace potter, toubab krewe and the wood bros right up there too.

All five, ranked in order by favorite:

2006 - VIP was the ticket, plus Radiohead, MMJ, Cat Power, Beck, etc.
2003 - I think one of the most well-rounded lineups, and good weather
2002 - the first, what more can you say? good times
2004 - great lineup, but this was the yr of torrential rains
2005 - crummy weather

Been to the last two, I enjoyed 06 over 05 more, but 05 might have had more bands I liked. Both years I have been well prepared and had no issues.

Sadly i have been to but one roo, 2004! I was there in spirit in '05 and '06 and i am STILL obsessed from way back in the day and VOW to be there this year. '07 will be the best yet!

I'll rank them in order I liked best:

2003 - Had the most fun this year. Was horribly unprepared but still had a blast. MMW latenight was amazing.

2004 - Weather sucked, still had a blast. Saw the best show I've ever seen at this one so that counts for something.

2005 - Still had fun but everything just started to lose it's charm. YMSB was amazing but this is when the music started moving away from my tastes.

All were amazing times so it's really hard to try and say I had a better time at one or the other but that would be the way they stack up. Still considering going this year but definitely waiting for the line up.

2006 was my first. I also missed many bands due to exhaustion and general cluelessness. That will not happen this year!!

2007 will be my fourth and the other three I've been to rank as follows...

2006:
Most diverse lineup to date and the weather was spectacular up until the final hours. Met some good folks. Tent only was a blast. Also, come on, Radiohead and Phil Lesh played on the same stage in the same 24 hour period!

2004:
My first time, some rookie mistakes, but the music was there and my eyes were opened up in a big, big way. The late nights were a blur, but made for some interesting little journeys.

2005:
Great time, great music, but the weather put a little bit of a damper on things.

2006 was my first year and im not missing it this year no matter what...I wish i had gone in 05 though

I've been 3 times and i have to say everytime has gotten better.

2006- Radiohead was freaking amazing. Had been enough times to not make the "rookie" mistakes.

2005- Modest Mouse and Secert Machines made that festival ROCK!! Had great weather for the most part. Had more friends with me than any other year. Had a great camping spot close to centeroo also.

2004- First timer mistakes plus the crazy rain put a hurt on my time but i still saw some AMAZING shows (MMJ, Damien Rice).

04' was a blast. Got to see Galactic put on a great show, but I got 2nd degree sunburn so I left on Sunday afternoon & couldn't see Trey.

05' was pretty cool but I was with my g/f at the time and she was a downer.

06' was amazing! from the ride down there until we left it was the best. MMW had a great set with G Love coming out with them. Loved it
