i think i've gone on long enough
Thats not a bonnaroo, thats coachella. Bonnaroo needs more diversity to be bonnaroo, but this is a YOUR ideal so props to you cuase that would be a sick lineup for a fest.
I think 2006 was pretty ideal for me. A good mix of music is what I like, I dig the jam and I dig the rock so it all worked out.

I think the Gorillaz would have made an absolutely sick/insane/cool/awesome/craziest shit on earth addition. The only problem would be that I'd have to miss someone else to see them . Should've had them replace Petty, put Oysterhead as a headliner, then we'd be golden
my 'ideal' bonnaroo would have to be a week-long affair, to minimize artist overlap:
phish pink floyd (the whole band. fsck 'em if roger doesn't come) bob dylan umphrey's mcgee my morning jacket beastie boys stereolab karl denson's tiny universe moe. flaming lips the roots mmw the zappa kids afghan whigs/twilight singers/greg dulli and a bullhorn gorillaz mark lanegan mogwai wilco the late, great johnny cash underworld mc chris prince r.e.m.
comedy tent line-up: the late, great bill hicks the late, great mitch hedberg dave chappelle

yea, i was just gonna post that those were the bands i'd like to see through the years at bonnaroo. . . not necessarily a line-up. i just don't know the names of enough good jam/rap/country bands to fill in the gaps. i did see some good jam bands this year though: tubab krewe and bella fleck were my favorites.

MY ideal Roo would certainty include some (gasp) metal like System of a Down as well as PRINCE and White Stripes
but while i was there and since, i have thought about bands that would actually fit in well... these could include:
TOOL Weezer Southern Culture on the Skids Deep Purple NIN CSNY and...(since Jim Morrison can't be resurrected)......... the BEST EVER act for Roo would be ..... PINK FLOYD (if not a reunion, then take the next closest thing- Gilmour or Waters) they could have a floating pig blimp hovering over all weekend............ everyone would freak out!!!
