What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

Who the hell is Thom Yorke?
EDIT: Oh one of the Radiohead dudes... Nevermind
Jesus christ! I can't stop laughing!! Seriously, that is hilarious. And I'm not laughing at you whatsoever Lucid, I'm sure most people don't know the name....it kind of puts things into perspective for us rabid fans
I gotta say, I love Radiohead, but I'm not that impressed by This Thom Yorke Disc. I've listened to it twice, and while I enjoy it and think it's good, it's really not impressive in the least bit.
What is the point of making a solo album that sounds alot like the last Radiohead disc you made (Hail to the thief)? It doesn't make sense to me. The sound is just following the progression from kida>httt, but it doesn't really branch out into a new sound or different territory. Well maybe it does just a little, but nothing that warrants a break from Radiohead to make the disc. It's essentially retreading old tires. Radiohead could have easily made this disc, and so that is why it's not that impressive to me. I was expecting something a little bit more than piano, effects, and e-drum beats.
Say what you will about Trey Anastasio and his solo career, but at least the 2 solo albums he made are a very noticeable deviation from Phish. It may not be the avenue you are looking from him, but at least it's an avenue that differentiates his solo music from what distinguished his musical career for 20+ years.
I don't get that from "The Eraser." I hear a disc that sounds like a rehashed Radiohead disc.
That being said, Black Swan and Harrowdown Hill are fantastic tracks.

I agree there's nothing too groundbreaking, but it does seem even more personal and direct than a Radiohead album, to me that's where the advantage in doing a solo album lies.

does everything thom or radiohead do HAVE to be goundbreaking?..why cant he/they just have a little fun and make a good record...i know we all love radiohead because they take artistic chances, but this "solo" album is a perfect way for thom to do something else w/o the pressure of "The New Radiohead Album".
