Really surprised and happy with how hard they went with electronic music. I was nervous they’d turn this into more of a multi genre fest. Just give me those Ootz Ootz please.
I was really feeling Disclosure for this but if it's a live set would they be too big to sub? Maybe special guest?
I think their live set makes them an obvious headliner, especially with new music. Not being announced via instagram makes them special and an outlier from other confirmations.
I’d personally put them as the headliner opposite Justice. Gesaffelstein would be another obvious headliner but not with Justice on the lineup.
Lol we got all of them. Turns out the solution is just using a bigger font
Added: Busy P b2b Braxe + Flacon, Joy Orbison, Zulan Lost: BLOND:ISH, Kelly Lee Owens
What an upgrade, jeez. I am not famliar with Kelly Lee Owens but BLOND:ISH is such a bore and is at every fest it seems. Busy P b2b Braxe + Falcon is so dope.
Not too familiar with Joy Orbison or Zulan, but I see the former talked about often.

Having a few acts on my schedule like Labrinth and Nelly Furtado provided a nice balance to the weekend for me, but I have zero fucking complaints about this lineup. It's absurdly good.

Kelly Lee Owens is excellent live so its a bummer she isnt on the poster. Hopefully it means she has a new record coming if she is booking shows again.
Coach either needs an ed banger takeover in Yuma or Quasar now.
Pleaaassseeeee
Also is wutangdan involved in Coachella booking at all because if he's not, he should be after these Portola lineups. If the Yuma bookings were more aligned with Portola, I would never leave that tent. I know Framework does Yuma, but Portola's smaller DJs last year and this year have been way more exciting to me. Also pulling Nelly Furtado for 2023, Deltron 3030 for 2024, these are the type of curveballs that are unexpected but also "holy shit, of course, why didn't anybody else think of that?" that I think Coachella's undercard could use.

If Kelly Lee Owens was in fact live I’m a little bummed because I’ve only caught DJ sets from her, but at the same time that B2B add is pretty freaking great!

The leak just had her name so it had to be live since theyre being specific with some acts. When I saw her open for Underworld last year it was specific that she was dj ing.

Yeah I was at that show. Honestly she’s a good DJ and I very much enjoyed her set, but definitely want to see her do the live thing!

Totally agree, I've only been to the Yuma once, LP Giobbi last year.
This year, seemed like they just pulled a bunch of melodic techno artists and called it good. Don't get me wrong, some of them weren't that, but even after listening to the whole lineup I couldn't find any reason to head over there (except DJ Seinfeld, who I missed, but am now planning to see at Portola!)

Okay what’s the best place to stay for this? Haven’t been to SF in a hot minute and would like to be able to walk around and grab breakfast/lunch pre fest each day and explore the surrounding area if at all possible. Suggestions?

It is kind of in a weird area of the city for experiencing the "classic" SF. What I did last year, even though I live in the Bay Area, was stay in Mission Bay (at Luna? Luma? something like that EDITED: Luma Hotel) and then walked to the venue, just 40 minutes +/-, down Third which is busy and clean and safe. The Ramp is an SF icon for lunch and we walked there, had lunch, and then walked into the venue each day.
But, you are nowhere close to the classic areas of SF and that area is very "could be anywhere" - lots of 10-20 story midrise buildings built in the last two decades. Once you get too far past Pier 80, the area gets pretty dicey so I wouldn't stay south of the venue.
The Dogpatch neighborhood is in between Mission Bay and the venue and has always had a cool little vibe. Not the biggest neighborhood but plenty of cool little bars, bakeries, restaurants.

Yeah, the live show is great. It was cool to see her open for Depeche Mode last year in an arena a couple times. If she plays Coach next year I bet she closes Gobi.

This might be my first year going, so take my view with a grain of salt, but it looks like the Oracle Park area has a straight train shot to the venue. I’m in SF for the first time right now and am staying at the Hyatt Place there, and it’s dope and nicely located

I stayed at that Hyatt in 2022. It was perfect - took the train to the fest and walked home after. Plus you could use transit to get around the rest sf without a problem

I’m so on the fence about this. With everything else going on around that time, I might sit this one out, but I might also get tix and figure things out later lol

you should go because I'm asking you politely to do so.

well it sounds like it didn't really sell out, but it's their 3rd year and this is a pretty big lineup and they've been building their brand so it could sell out this time. Who knows. But according to Reddit it's usually not a problem to get a ticket later if you really decide you want to go.
I just booked a pay-later room on Booking.com at the Hyatt Regency SOMA. With all the fees a double queen room is $725 for 3 nights. A lot of the other hotels only have single king/queen or 2 double beds which isn't really ideal. I didn't really see any reasonable Airbnbs in the area with more than 1 bed, though there were a couple pretty nice ones in Dolores Heights (30 min tram + walk) and it looks like a pretty good residential neighborhood w/ restaurants and stuff.
