Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
i think fred was a little surprised and taken back when he saw how big the crowd was. he was all giddy and giggly up there. i am sad there wasn’t any fred merch tho
But maybe this is me really hitting the "I'm old and jaded" part of my bonnaroo life. With 17 in the books and a lot of the novelty worn off, I found myself more often thinking "oh yeah this fine" instead of "oh fuck yeah!".
yeah i'd guess like you said it's part lineup and just part age and experience. to me bonnaroo has become more of a comfort than an super duper pumped up excite party. like i'm just happy when i'm there. i do get a kick out of this weird thing still existing that i first attended 20 years ago. and while a ton has changed what's even crazier is how much hasn't changed. it's still the what/which/this/that and it's still just artists in there playing and a bunch of sunburnt people getting down.
Look, nothing against those who got sick or caught a bug, but that just wouldn’t happen to me. Idk if it’s because I’m built different or just have a stronger mentality but I just would not let that happen. Think those who got sick need to do some self reflection and try to model themselves after me a bit more.
I tried to be more like you and now I'm not sick at all. Best I've felt after bonnaroo ever and I went just as hard as always. Highly recommend modeling your lives off of this guy Tranter. He's really got it going on
Idk this man leaves Sunday before Fred Again

Sickness is not a problem for most people at Roo but yeah whatever helps you sleep at night. Most people are experienced and know how to rest during the day to ensure they don't get sick. You have stated what is effectively a non-issue.

Referring to stomach bugs though. Lots of people were sick around the campgrounds including a couple of our friends. I thought it was booze or worse kicking their ass until the 3rd person of our 30 was sick by Monday AM. Seemed to be a 24 hour or less bug, but you don't really want to be nauseated or have the runs when your option is a port-o-john sauna.

Sunday was lighter but really loved Chappell Roan into Yves Tumor. However, either due to heat, dehydration, or poor alcohol pacing, I took a nap after BBNG (missing Four Tet and GSBG). Recovered for Isbell and Fred Again.. and loved both.
Weekend Top 5:
1. Idles 2. Chappell Roan 3. Jon Batiste 4. Mars Volta 5. Jason Isbell
Unexpectedly loved the TV Girl set. Close second was Roisin Murphy - wish I had left GWAR early as I only saw the last half of her set and now I want to see her whole show.
No real disappointments - I had bad tent spots for GWAR and Ethel Cain so didn’t love these as much as I hoped.
5th Roo, would rank 2019>2022>2016>2023>2024, mostly due to heat, and lack of fewer must sees this year. Still loved it. Can’t wait till next year.
Was very disappointed with Fred at Lolla last year. Some of it could be attributed to sound issues that may or may not have been his fault, but I’m happy to say his Roo set was leaps and bounds better.
Biggest gripe from Lolla was that he talked way too much and there were multiple long pauses in between songs. He talked very little this time, which was a much welcomed change.
Visuals and production were also majorly improved and fit his aesthetic really well. He sounded great and the set list was also ideal.
Lastly, there was a moment when he went to his b-stage and people around us thought the guy on stage was Skrillex. In our state we believed them so you can imagine the euphoria there. It wasn’t until later when I read up on it and embarrassingly realized it was his “brother” Tony from Modestap. In fairness, they do both kinda look alike. Regardless, that moment will be forever etched into our experience.
All in all Sunday was fantastic. It seems that Roo never fails to facilitate special memories. Hoping to return for all 4 days next year.

top ten in no particular order...
1. Durand Bernarr 2. T Pain 3. Khruangbin 4. Mdou Moctar 5. BADBADNOTGOOD 6. Emo Superjam 7. T- Pain 8. Megan Thee Stallion 9. Jon Batiste 10. Infinity Song
I most certainly had to make some choices this weekend and missed alot of what I wanted to see, but I had a mostly positive experience and somehow avoided sunburn completely. Filled out the little survey and the headliners they have in their sites all have me optimistic for 2025 being a bounce back year. Feel free to suggest Soviet Shiksa for your music recommendations next year btw

I enjoyed it thoroughly. Im a sucker for the hits. But I understand whole heartidly if it wasnt a vibe for someone. The crowd in my area, myself included, was having a great time.

Bernarr was entertaining because of the moves he has. I'll still maintain that the funniest shit was when he came out seeing a few groups of frat bros look at each other and run out of there as fast as they could.
Bernarr has a disrespectful amount of talent, and his band was tight as all get out. But yeah, frat bois beware.
I was dying at their reactions. This black guy and his girlfriend sitting at the pole behind me were laughing at these bros' immediate awkwardness. They were afraid to catch a case of teh gay.
I enjoyed it thoroughly. Im a sucker for the hits. But I understand whole heartidly if it wasnt a vibe for someone. The crowd in my area, myself included, was having a great time.
I was just impressed that you liked it so much that his set took up 2 of your top 10 spots.

here's a fake bonnaroo 2024 review just so i can pretend i was there:
WEDNESDAY: me and the boys rolled up wednesday, got a great spot in pod 90. we did what we do and got out the car and immediately keyed a busch heavy as is tradition. we was ripping bongs and smoking that shit. rolled up to teddy's DJ set (always a highlight of the weekend) and got up with the INFOCROO. had a blast but the party ended when we got back to our campsite and it had been completely destroyed by thieves. they stole all our shit but luckily we had our busch heavies and blunts locked up "tight in the Tahoe" as they say so we were still good to go for the weekend, unfortunately our ez up was destroyed and most of our clothes but we still had our tents!
THURSDAY: not gunna let thieves get us down we slept in the mud and woke up bright and early to a beautiful bonnaroo sunrise. it was hot though man!! y'all know it if you were there. we tipped up those beers and kept on truckin as they say. rolled into centeroo around dos o'clock to catch Michigander who is a musician, then eggy for that jamband groove then on to Say She She which was the surprise fun set of the weekend. hit up the ferris wheel meetup and absolutely clocked some fools then smoked a lil' baby blunt to get hype for Pretty Lights (2 Sets) 8:30am-12:15am. pretty lights played all the hits and it was one of the greatest roo memories we've ever had. unfortunately the party was short lived, after chris lake we got back to camp to find it was completely destroyed (again) by thieves. we had setup our tents and they were either smashed or stolen. turns out we was smashed to though so all good, happy roo to all. and as is tradition we had several cases of busch heavy and about three-four dozen lil baby blunts locked up tight in the Tahoe.
FRIDAY: we slept in the mud using a bong as a pillow since we didn't have any clothes or tents left but woke up to a beautiful bonnaroo sunrise. happy too to all. hit up brunch with the INFOCROO then was on to Mdou Moctar to hear that guitar music. other highlights of the day included david "kush"ner and Joe Russos Grateful Dead Band. post malone brought the good vibes and we keyed a busch heavy. LATE NIGHT t-pain was the way, after TMV shredded our brains we headed back to camp aglow with a bonnaroo day. unfortunately our vibe was taken down a notch or three when we got back to camp and the little bit of shit we had left was stolen by thieves or completely destroyed, also they stabbed the tires of the Tahoe with a knife so there wasn't any air left in them. can't let it get you down when you're at roo though, we ended up just sitting on the ground and enjoyed a busch heavy and a blunt and talked about how great the day was.
SATURDAY: we slept in the mud using crushed busch heavy cans as a blanket since we'd been wearing the same clothes since wednesday. woke up to a beautiful bonnaroo sunrise in that HEAT, high fived our neighbors and dropped trow to shit in the earth. and piss. moseyed into centeroo for a great day of music, starting with brittany howard who ruled and then jon batiste where we saw ambassador of fun on the rail. great seeing you bro! then on to whyte fang and the peppas, i'd never seen the peppas with JOhn frusciante so it was good. late night was diplo > pretty lights and it was the best set i'd ever seen. all aglow on drugs we high fived and headed back to camp, unfortunately the party ended when we found our camp site had been destroyed again by thieves. we didn't have anything left but they kicked the mud around and dug into it so it was wet, the groundwater seeping up through and getting everything wet. but we were hammered anyway and laid down in the wet wet mud to get a good nights rest, knowing we were good for saturday with our remaining busch heavies and blunts locked up tight in the tahoe.
SUNDAY: awoke to a beautiful roo sunrise and found that during the night we had been robbed by thieves. they took our wallets and slapped our asses so we had red asses and no money but we had all we needed to wrap up the perfect roo, the three B's: my boys, my busch, my blunts!! rolled into centeroo and then the rain came through, rain delay party! headed back to camp and dropped trow and took a dump. headed back in for jason isbell and FRED AGAIN. wish he would've brought skrillex out but it was a great set and we cried because we are so tired and dirty. however the party came to a halt when we headed back to our camp and the headlights and all the windows on the Tahoe had been smashed by thieves. luckily we had burried a blunt in teh mud so we pulled that out and sparked it and talked about what an amazing bonnaroo we had. rolling out wednesday, sunburnt and with the wind coming through the completely smashed windshield is a memory i'll never forget. thank you bonnaroo and thank you INFOROO this is a top 20 bonnaroo for me easily.

easily the biggest L I’ve taken related to this board. Was like watching Brady lose his first Super Bowl.
Think Ima take a trip down memory lane tonight. Tomorrow is a holiday, so I’m going to get toasted and watch clips and sets. Fortunately someone seems to have gotten all of PL Thursday so whatever else I find that’s going to be the headliner. Only big loss for me was eyeglasses at some point after Roisin. I checked back a couple x with lost and found to no avail. I noticed at work today that even though I’ve only worn them for a few weeks and can otherwise see, I’m pretty close to illiterate without them. I’m also thinking I forgot I was up front for this at outer rail then pit for set 2. Wonder if I’m on it? I saw me on a few streams by raising my hands horn or fist but who knows if I got some AoF level of face time.

5th Roo (everyone since 2018) probably my least favourite lineup at release but was constantly surprised by stuff that wasn't on my radar. Add in having our biggest croo at 23 people this was my second favourite Roo outta 5.
