Fun day so far. I’m sitting in the grass at That for Garden. So far of the shit I watched a bunch of Brittany was pretty good. Ethel put a lot of heart into her show but the sound sucked until the last song. Not her fault. Batiste was really good in person. Not sure how it translated but he’s got all that positivity. More than Bonnaroo. Cage was hit af. Good crowd singing but should have been louder based on how packed it was. Gonna boycott red hots after this and head to parcels or whatever. 8 hours to go but bars close at 2 :/

Heaven is a place on earth…PL just knew exactly when to hit us with that.
Some quick thoughts as I’m sitting at camp at 610am thinking about how I’m gonna try and sleep.
Chili Peppers were ok I guess, lot of people seemed to be into it and the crowd was massive. Superjam was a fun singalong, it’s kind of just become that spot you scream along to covers with your friends but whatever. Kind of weird to play two TBS songs when they’re on the bill today?
Parcels was breathtaking and a fucking serious party, left after 20mins to catch Idles. Hands down best set of the fest, that tent was going fucking bonkers. At one point the circle pit was almost the entire width of the tent.

Your boy me just got to camp. Lots more at some point but focus isn’t that great. PL was awesome. That’s one of the 3 weirdest shows I’ve seen him do of the couple dozen. Day for Night, Analog Future Buku afterparty and this. It wasn’t perfect or in my top PL shows as far as the music. That shit got handled Thursday. But I am super appreciative of going rogue for a sunrise set and taking chances to make it memorable. Diplo was fun but wasn’t wild about everything . Can’t finish this post because haha. But I’ll fill those gaps later.
Probably the least I’ve enjoyed RHCP in the 5 times I’ve seen them. Cage had a better, more engaging show. Weird setlist for a headlining festival set. 5/16 songs from their two new albums seems like a lot. Flea and John are enough to make it fun and interesting, but the set just hit big lulls where people lost interest.
IDLES fucking ripped. Crowd was small, but fucking rowdy and the guys brought it. Left hoarse and drenched in sweat. I apologize if any of you had to come in contact with my disgusting body during that. No chance I was making PL. Love them. Love Roo.
