Saw this when I was absolutely tripping sack and need to know wtf that was lol
We had just gotten back to camp in the ADA section and happened so fast we thought we were tripping hard. Seemed like they landed near the disco ball tower. Some folks are saying it was for Red Bull. I was so confused haha.

I still didn’t make it to as many shows I’d have liked yesterday but did better than Thursday! TV Girl > Khruangbin > ISOXO > laughing with my friends so much and streaming the pure audio bliss of brat during Posty > Thundercat was a really great night for me
I’ll be in today for Ethel Cain come hell or high water!!

Did I end up dancing more at JRAD than at Pretty Lights? Yes I did. What a show! Glad to have seen these guys!
Loved the part where they all purposely played out of key of eachother and then suddenly blended together perfectly. They did this several times and I noticed myself waiting for them to do that.

Khruangbin blew away my expectations for the set. Went into it thinking it was a sit down show but the energy was just too high for that.
My honorable mentions go to Faye and Tpain.
Asian Sensation in Plaza 3 is an absolute bomb meal. The chicken teriyaki bowl is the food equivalent to liquid IV. I don't make it to T-Pain without it.
Post was a blast too and the energy on left side What was great with plenty of dancing room.
Only negative yesterday was the heat forcing me back to camp and missing The Japanese House. I might have to cut Brittany Howard today too. Those Which Stage 3pm shows drain my battery to 0 quickly.

Man I thought yesterday was going to be meh but overall the weakest day for my weekend was an awesome day. Mdou was wonderful start to the day and was a blast to see everyone. Rode out the heat at camp till around Khru. Got us a great spot and the show crushed. So far my fav show of the weekend. Jrad after was incredible just butt hurt they weren’t late night. Post was far better than I thought he was going to be plus Billy . TMV with everybody was a great way to end a solid ass day. We won’t be heading in till Brittany Howard but Howard > Paul > Kasablanca > CTE > SJ > Peppas > Parcels > Diplo > PL
Joe Russo and the drummer for TMV were the heroes of yesterday for me. Both sets kicked ass and the drummers were a major driving factor in that. Bonnie Light Horseman sat in for Row Jimmy with JRAD and the vocal harmonies were really good.
Listened to posty from camp while eating dinner. Could see what screens sitting on my roof rack, but didn't watch much. I'm not Post fan and tbh this didn't really change my mind. Kinda started strong but then he seemed drunk when he was rambling to the crowd. The idea of a Billy sit in was cooler in concept than execution. After TMV Tranter predicted Post Malone's death within 10 years lol.
Mars Volta were the highlight yesterday for me, but a solid day overall. Really enjoyed TV Girl more than I thought I would (a lot!), Funny stage banter as well. The humor in the lyrics comes across between songs as well. Interpol ‘Antics’ set was outstanding, and the non-Antics songs hit as well - they sounded great. Great bunch of shows on This stage yesterday. Earlier Mdou did not disappoint, and I really thought Faye Webster killed it.
Tried to catch some of Post Malone, but crowd seemed massive from the right so we kind of hung towards the back and by the permanent bathrooms. That’s where I saw the Billy Strings cameo (at least the second song, apparently I was in the bathroom for the first one lol).
The heat is rough. I’ll try to get there early for Half Moon Run then probably will take a break in camp until Ethel. Hoping to catch some Infinity Song, but not sure I will make it - got to pace myself for tonight.
Wobblin buzzed in the heat. I’m slow sipping some trace and topo since I’m off restrictions for the weekend. The occasional cloud passing by rules. If it clouds up more I’ll go in for Ethel. Otherwise some point after. Gonna be a long night so I’m wanting to stay buzzed but cognizant that in order to accomplish my goal of 6am zinging, it’ll require a general slow roll today or else a hard roll tonight. So if anyone sees me late, sorry. Bitch I might be.

Our boy D Rob told us they sent him to Nashville Airport to pick up Shmeeans and Jesus Coomes who are playing with PL tonight. Lettuce in the hau as well as sometimes Analog Future Band motherfuckers. Looking like they’re going funky at 3:30am.
