Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
On RHCP’s most recent setlist, i would be happy to hear 12 of the 19 songs they played. Sure, there’s the obligatory new songs and they could certainly do deeper cuts from Blood Sugar or earlier. But I still like them more than Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam (never that big a fan).
I doubt RHCP will be in my top 5 for the weekend, but I expect to have a good time.
I noticed that on a few of their recent shows, they didn't play Under the Bridge. That's a choice...
What songs are you all most looking forward to hearing?
My personal ones, in no particular order:
Amsterdam-Gregory Alan Isakov Across That Fine Line-Nation of Language (if you've seen them before, you know they close with this and they kill it live) I Can See it In Your Face-Pretty Lights Run Away With Me-Carly Rae Raffarin-Dombrance (One of these days roo will book Todd Terje, and this song is the closest I'll get to hearing Oh Joy on the farm) Killing My Borrowed Time-Geese Pressure Cooker-Militarie Gun Oh Sheit It's X-Thundercat (he rarely plays it, but if he does I will take my top off) Elephant-Jason Isbell ("Strong men also cry"-The Big Lebowski) Femininomon-Chappell Roan
Sean Paul - Gimme the Light, Temperature, Get Busy, Like Glue , I’m Still In Love With You, and We Be Burning

He’s a pro at what he does but at this point I’ve seen him like 9 or 10x from the parking lot of Deluna to multiple Jack U’s and Major Lazers as well as Dilplo shows. It feels like another retread. That doesn’t mean it’s not a good warmup for the sunrise set though

That show is actually a hidden gem on this line-up
I dont get how its hidden though I agree it hasnt been talked about much. Fat late night set from a fairly legendary band thats known to be great live. Plus their only dates this year are a mini tour leading up to this Bonnaroo set.

that’s how it was the last time they played bonnaroo but *ahem* john wasn’t with them at the time so maybe that makes it more likely

also john has done a bunch of stuff with the mars volta and omar so i’d say there’s a good chance he shows up at their late night set
flea played bass on most of de-loused and plays trumpet across the rest of the albums.
if bonnaroo still had bands that sit in with each other, i'd believe it. but i don't expect any RHCP to be at the set. i'd be very happily surprised, but not expectant.

Songs I'm looking forward to, but first a note: This is an interesting Roo bc a lot of my most anticipated acts are not acts where I'm looking forward to a particular song:
GWAR ISOXO Jon Batiste PL Four Tet
---------------- Astral Plane - Say She She Circles - Post Malone Any of the Hits - Grouplove Shake Me Down - Cage the Elephant California - The Garden If I'm Honest - Trousdale These Days - Manwolves Chappell's entire set

In case anyone is interested, badbadnotgood has released 3 new EPs in the last 3 weeks. And that doesn't include the project they did with Baby Rose a short time before that.
