I respect spoon, but the up and coming hardcore band that’s selling out venues the same size as them faster than them is going to get billed higher at the punk fest.
The true point of that mock was to continue manifesting Justice, which is what we should all be doing right now. Also, with Slayer as a confirmed headliner, I don't see another metal act being top bill for another day.
Though given they booked St. Vincent, it’s clear they’re continuing to angle for an indie audience too, but I can’t stretch my imagination hard enough to imagine a headliner to accommodate that crowd in the absence of another obvious one like DCFC/Postal Service. (To counter the obvious point: nothing against him but I hope it’s not Beck.)
