Flipping through that one thing I do genuinely appreciate about this festival is how much more trans positive it is compared to….well most UK institutions.

Not sure if this is known because I just saw this in a 3 week old interview and haven’t read this thread. Dua has known she was going to headline Glastonbury since the end of her Future Nostalgia tour. Not sure when she considers the end to be? but she got an email from Emily Eaves then. She didn’t even tell the people that she was working with on the album about it until near the end of the process.

I think that was pretty much going to be the outcome when she didnt appear on the 2022 lineup anyway. Just a matter of timing and all. Emily loves to do that personal handshake agreement thing. Chris Martin being one of the notable ones when he said yes to playing in 2016 and his agent got all huffed about it. The Adele booking was sweet, too.
