I have a second groups worth of stuff entered but when I’ve been trying to pick a bus it says none found. Been hammering at it for about 15 minutes but about to give up
Should I have any hope for Sunday? I feel like I heard that today’s sale was my best chance.
There will be more people trying in the GP on sale, but there are going to be more tickets too. Not sure how many they have on holds for coach sales, but I’d imagine it’s only maybe 20-50k of ~150k total avails.
So in other words, it’s luck of the draw either way.
What does a VPN blocker accomplish if you have to have a rego number to buy anyways? Honest question, I’ve never heard of this.
See has always seemingly favored uk ip addresses. Its been a thing for years.
Interesting. A ton of Aussies always get tickets, so there’s the opposite sentiment down here. The theory is they have a better chance because they’re not in the UK. I have a bunch of British friends down here too and they were talking the other day about how maybe they’ll finally get to go because they’re not in the UK. 🤷🏽♀️
To be honest, I work in ticketing (I am head of entertainment at Ticketek, which is essentially our Ticketmaster) and having seen how the back end works I doubt their system is capable of seeding out via region like that. They’d just be hoping the site doesn’t crash. It’s all random. Based on traffic to page they open up X number or sessions. It’s slower at first till they see rate of sale and average basket size, then they’d make a call on opening up more or less sessions at a time. Once they’re close to dibs’d out they hold to let transactions complete and see how many more they have available. I’d be shocked if they’re system is recognizing a region code on top of all that.
Im also not saying they can’t, bc that info is easily available in GA. But it’d be a very sophisticated system to able to do it and See doesn’t seem that sophisticated.

Theres probably something in there thats letting it happen. There is one thread on efests that was a whole deep dive on what worls and what doesnt when it comes to it. And how you shouldnt refresh more than such and such times or youll get put into the fake holding page etc And of course how a lot of people keep pulling tickets every single year without fail. With the way its set up how can you have gotten in each time for the last 10 festivals when theyve all sold out in half an hour ya know.

Yea, I’ve never understood how people get in every year. But I know for our site you can bypass the Lounge (it’s not a queue!) with a bouncer link. A friend of mine who’s a web developer said he found the bouncer link embedded in the page code and that’s how he got Taylor Swift tickets. I’m not sure if it’s true, but he did call it by the right name, so it’s possible. Maybe people who get tickets every year have some similar back door way of doing things. Idk.
And yea. The refreshing thing is true. If you refresh too many times you lol get flagged as a bot. Ours does that too.

Alanis Morissette is out because she’ll be playing at some of her shows here in the U.S. and probably Canada and she can play at Glastonbury in another year.

Well some services are extra sensitive to that. For example Axs will make you a bot if you refresh like 5 times in a minute. Nothing extreme, and its just a bunch of bullshit.
