"Emily Eavis has dropped some major hints about the 2024 Glastonbury headliners, revealing that the legend slot will be a female act.
The Glastonbury Festival co-organiser also suggested that two of next year’s headliners could be women.
“2024 is still a little up in the air,” she told Annie Macmanus and Nick Grimshaw on Thursday’s episode of their podcast, Sidetracked with Annie and Nick.
“And I thought it was kind of taking shape and then last week I just got a call, and this is what happens if you wait a little longer, because quite often we’ll be booked up from July. This year we’re holding out for a little bit longer and last week I got a call from a really big American artist saying this person’s around next year, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is incredible.’ Thank God we held the slot.”
Glastonbury has long been criticised for its gender split of artists. Last year’s festival was headlined by all-male acts: Guns N’ Roses, Arctic Monkeys and Elton John."
She also said Guns & Roses was a replacement for a female headliner last year, not sure if that was already known.

Supposedly GnR was in for Taylor or Rihanna. And she had also talked about why Lizzo didnt get a headline spot ( at the time ) over even GnR to ease the diversity thing and it was because she didnt get booked til the late stages of the poster.

Well, Looks like our group is going to give it a go this time. One of our group got caught in the registration delete process this year (they thought they had confirmed but apparently not). Anyway, we still have 6 in.
One interesting side point...from looking at the 2024 Tickets Faq, it does look like they are processing the CC payment as part of the initial sale this year.

Yeah. They went back to the "old way" which is fine because the other way it was done made it sell out in a lot less time. Cause you literally just had to get through, out in info and hut send. So you just had to wait on the link they sent to finish a payment. It essentially removed the scenario where people would be trying and get stuck on the payment and then those tickets would get released. So even though they might say its sold out in half an hour its probably twice that time cause people keep getting through due to human error.
