Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
If you dig on swine there's a new spot called humble hog and it's legit. They smoked everything, including the seafood. It's crazy good but probably not the best for a big group. They may have a big table in the back, I dunno. Might just be a good stop through the weekend. It's across from the visitors center so very nice locale for this. What are your parameters for brunch?
Thinking it’s a smaller group this year, honestly. Probably under 10 pending on if anyone brings anyone (which everyone is welcome).
I’m cool with any day honestly. My first must see Saturday is at like 2:30 and 1:30 on Sunday.
I'm good with wherever. I live here, so it's not like it'll be my only shot to go to a place, ya know? I also don't have anything super early show wise, so I am flexible on time.

No sax player listed on the Harvest Time lineup is pretty suspect. Shabaka seems a likely cameo, yeah? James Brandon Lewis? Joshua Abrams--bass Tisiji Muñoz--guitar Carlos Niño--percussion, Sheila Maurice-Grey--trumpet, John Medeski--keyboards Surya Bottafasina--keyboards Austin Williams--drums

Shabaka retired from playing saxophone apparently but I'd love to see it

Both Threadgill & Charles Lloyd immediately come to mind.
4-day and Sunday sold out. Guess that Jon Batiste booking paid off. Seems like all 5 Andre sets are still available.
Saturday is looking to sell out, too, with Herbie. Makes absolute sense though.
They should have just given Andre a St. John’s residency and be done with it. I’ll be surprised if any of them sell out at $80/pop. It’s a cool booking but outside of bigger metropolitan areas it’s too much for most people. It’s an either/or situation with single days or just a single show.

Still haven't made it to Tupelo Honey yet so if we can somehow find a way to get a table that gets my vote!
They apparently take reservations now, so you'd theoretically just need a day, time and solid headcount.
Pretty sure I've made reservations there every year I've attended (via OpenTable)... it's, traditionally, my first morning meal in Knoxville (and my final evening meal is at Emilia Italian).

For the new folk (welcome!)... this is the only FAQ you need for schedule planning
The 7 Stages Towards Big Ears Schedule Acceptance & Festival Bliss
1. The artists are announced; you make a list of your "must see" shows and emotionally believe you will see ALL of them.
2. Schedule is published, conflicts become evident: you scream, cry, eat ice cream, and eventually become at peace with the sacrifices you need to make. Time passes.
3. The schedule is changed; repeat phase 2. Time passes.
4. You realize that your schedule has some unreasonable distance vs. time vs. capacity constraints (i.e. you're not going to be able to walk from St Johns to the Mill & Mine in 5 mins); after more tears, some artists are scratched off the list. Eventually, you become at peace with the sacrifices you need to make. Time passes.
5. Oh. That's right. You're going to need to eat. You scratch out a few more artists. Time Passes.
6. Secret shows & last minute cancellations/reschedules are announced; you adjust your plan, once again. Tears, yes, but fewer this round.
7. Fatigue, hunger, socializing, etc. hit during the fest... you scratch a few more off, and possibly add others. The event ends and you can't believe you saw as many brilliant shows as you did; plans are immediately made for next year.

I definitely made a reservation through open table when I ate there last year.
If you’re doing lunch on Sunday, I’ll plan on joining.
Looking like a wet Friday and Saturday morning but good the rest of the weekend. Pack a poncho though.
They switched up Myriam Gendron and Joan Shelly and put Eli Winter in between on Friday. Sadly, Myriam now overlaps with Frith/Mori and I’m gonna have to make decisions.

Two more sleeps, y’all.
Damn, I planned to see Joan Shelley. Will see if I still can.

You should be fine. The only real conflict is Molly Lewis. Depends on how you feel about whistling.
Just fyi, the ATL Unwound show was 90 minutes on the dot last night. No spoilers but I was told it’s heavy on Repetition and 1 of my 2 favorite songs were played.
