I was there yesterday. Seems like tbey figured their shit out finally, because other than few sound issues in earlier bands, everything seemed to run smoothly. It was a bit crowded, but I basically spent my whole day at Siren Stage, so I didn’t feel the crowd as much.

Also, Drop Nineteens was probably my top 3 sets yesterday (with Slowdive and Vein.fm being the other favorites). Am looking forward to watching them again in a club show if they decide to come back to LA.

Was in VIP and had 0 complaints except for the long merch lines. Would definitely go back next year. Slowdive were great.

Yeah I think I'm in for this especially if it will be my chance to not have to deal with that horrible "in the round" type setup they'll have for the rest of the tour. That sound was absolutely awful at SoFi stadium last year for both nights.

Agreed on 3 Days Grace but X is a full band. The drummers name is confusingly DJ Bonebreak.

Think it is a pretty solid lineup. But some of the lineup placements are baffling. Why is a 1k club draw like Glassjaw billed so high, but an ampitheater act like Mudvayne billed so low?
And who the heck thought The Flaming Lips would fit in here?

Some of the billings here are really weird. Glassjaw are one of my favorite bands but in what universe are they bigger than Mastodon? Apparently this one!

Last year I saw both Ministry and Machine Head at the exact same venue, with similar sized crowds (although more people were gone by the end of Ministry than Machine Head), and yet Ministry is 3rd line?

Also funny that when I saw the Gojira/Mastodon coheadline tour last year it was Mastodon who closed out the night, and now Gojira is a couple lines above them (as they should be).

Its one less stage. Last year for WWWY had the same deal and all they did was give Green Day and Blink 90 mins each. So likely Lp gets 90 mins as does Metallica or just Metallica with 2 hours. Theyll still screw over the smaller acts.
