That's right, he conflicts with Goose. I'll probably start Goose, go to Denzel and then catch the end of Goose. I guess my play for what the thread is now is to start at J. Cole and then leave for King Gizzard. I'd seen Disclosure before, but I wasn't digging that Coachella set much that they showed on TV. King Gizzard was good last time I saw them and can't see leaving that for very long to see what Disclosure is up to if The Other/That aren't adjacent - I suppose it depends on how far apart The Other & That end up being on this year's map. One alternative if I'm too bored at J. Cole is to go to the beginning of Disclosure since they start 20 minutes earlier than King Gizzard. Wildcard is that I have Denzel tickets for the Friday after Bonnaroo, so if Goose reels me in, it wouldn't be the end of the world to miss some of Denzel at Bonnaroo.

can't wait to miss Esteban at another fest because I'm only at all the boring bubble gum pop shows

thinking my plan is just to skip Denzel since i’m going to the NOLA show the week after. you gonna be there?
I wanna see all 3 plus LP. So guess start at Disclosure hit first few songs, head to Gizzard, first bit of Goose , LP and end of Goose. Friday and Saturday nights are shaping up to be a blast.

Yeah. I'm not missing a Denzel show when he comes to town. I'll be in the waitstaff area since I have connections there. I'll fill you in at Bonnaroo.
10-4. I'm easy to find. I'll generally have a Pelicans or Saints curved bill [tm] baseball cap on. Since I smoke cigarettes, I usually don't go deep into the crowds in favor of the perimeter since I personally don't like secondhand smoke and respect non-smoker's rights to not have to deal with that shit. So it's either near the back, on the outskirts or some kind of way toward the front left if I'm not smoking.
Thanks everyone, this all helps. Still open to other suggestions or any background info. Looking into previous threads abotu them, too but figured I'd check here for the current stuff since I know they release an album every two weeks it seems.
Just going to throw out the idea of listening to the first 4 songs of Nonogon Infinity. To me its the most enjoyable stretch on their best album. No guarantees that those songs get played live they are halfway likely and I think youd just have another quality batch to hope for.

Lolz us too. Usually back end of the crowd and smoking a cig. I like to have room to dance since I’m not that great at it. I’ll keep an eye out for the pelicans jersey.

They've only played one B3K song live afaik and it's Shanghai which they've done like three times.
Damn, I’m definitely more of the poppy/psych King Gizz vibe. My two favorite albums are prolly Fishing For Fishies and Butterfly 3000, but Infest the Rats Nest is pretty legit and I like what I’ve heard of the new album so far.

I would check out Chunky Shrapnel for the best/quickest intro. It was a doc/film of their 2019 tour, so it will be pretty close to what they’re playing now. Not sure where you can find the full thing, but there’s a YouTube playlist that seems to have most of it segmented. They also released an audio version on the streaming apps, it has full versions of all the performances on the film.
An even quicker intro to live Gizz is the Head On/Pill version on their Live in San Francisco ‘16 album. IMO a great snapshot of the band live.
