To my own surprise, I picked Disclosure. I'll have seen Goose twice by Roo and there's a good chance Disclosure will lose a conflict battle for me at Coachella. If I end up catching 'em there then it's a toss-up really.
I voted Goose, but I'm not as excited about them as I usually get about seeing jam. I've seen STS9 and UM a couple dozen times, moe. SCI Panic TDB and Phish a bunch, Spafford and most of the up and coming stuff. Goose feels a little on the generic side of jam to me. I'm probably wrong, but all the live stuff I've watched on YouTube (including recent shows) hasn't clicked as much as I hoped. Jam, live, is usually about exploration rather than trying to reproduce a record, so maybe just being there will make it right. A lot of you that have seen them sung their praises, so that's heartening. I've seen King Gizzard and Disclosure and like them both enough that if Goose doesn't suck me in for the duration, I can always split the three shows since I am prone to wander and get pieces of as much as I can anyway.

Gizz because I’m seeing Goose (again) for two nights the weekend before Roo. Was also supposed to see them in Cleveland tomorrow but selling my tickets bc of work… will probably still make a Bonnagoose appearance.

Still haven’t varied much from this, though I’ve listened to more Disclosure and have determined that Disclosure fucks

I’m ugly, old, and smelly, so I will most definitely be at King Gizzard - they’re my second-most anticipated set of the festival. I’m crossing my fingers they get over two hours.
Also, calling KG, LW, and Butterfly 3000 middling records is some bullshit.

I would split up Disclosure and Goose. King Gizz is playing down here in October and I think out of the three, they would be who the wife enjoys the least.
I feel like on Saturday there’s good chance Disclosure plays Other Tent while Illenium plays the late Which set? Hoping for a scenario of King Gizz getting a 8:45-10 tent set before headliner, Disclosure playing Other from 12:45-2, and Goose playing That from 1:30-3:30.
King Gizz had a massive two-set show in Melbourne earlier this month. Setlist was pretty juicy as well. Would be awesome if their shows started to trend to this format and would be really awesome however unlikely if they got a midnight to sunrise slot with a setbreak segue like the old days. Dripping Tap has major Head On vibes.

Ugh I’m sitting here watching Disclosure’s set from Reading Festival 2021 and seeing Energy being played makes me want to change my answer from King Gizz to Disclosure. But I dunno King Gizz on the farm sounds like it will be magical.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Man this conflict if it happens really blows, I'd like to see all 3. Right now I'd rank them 1. King Gizzard 2. Goose 3. Disclosure
Disclosures first record is an all timer for me, but the ones since haven't been great outside a few jams, and I've seen them before. Haven't seen either Goose or King Gizzard, but King Gizz never comes to Houston and Goose does. I've been meaning to try to get more into Goose though (which if anyone has any specific show recommendations I have a Nugs account), I think seeing them live might do it for me, but they seem to tour a ton.
Honestly all 3 would probably be in my top 5 for the day so it'd be a huge bummer to schedule them at the same time
At least I don’t have to decide between Gizz and Disclosure anymore and I know I get to see both. But I’m just worried that King Gizz and Denzel will conflict now /:
