Okay so if Tame Impala can be a number two at Bonnaroo because that’s where they’ve been billed before, why can’t Lizzo be a sub? She’s never been booked as a headliner at Coachella before.
I would probably vote no to both given a poll. I get that majors have more sometimes, but that would give those festivals an advantage I was trying to avoid for this game.
If anyone thought that we weren't going to get into a shit ton of debates over what is and isn't a "HLer talent" with that rule, you're insane. The writing was on the wall lmao
Lizzo shouldn't be drafted now, given the rule. But I don't care to fight them on it either. If others do, sure, let's poll it
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

There’s been no instance that she got demoted like Tame since she’s been a headliner
they headlined Coachella because of circumstances, but the fact the got bumped from a 1 to 2 shows they're not a set top 3
See I think Rage is clearly defined as a headliner while some of these others are just borderline.
For instance should someone be able to draft The Strokes now? I would probably vote against them, but I know they would be down the line at a major fest.
edit: and Tame and Lizzo are absolutely bigger than them

You’re right! It was insane of me to pick a popular artist me and my teammate like. You won’t ever catch me making that batshit crazy mistake again.

I think the strokes are also probably cutting it close as well. they were #3 at ACL 2015, which now idk that they get that high if they played now

Probably the wrong time to ask this, but 120 act seems like a lot for Shaky. Come the end of the draft, could we start taking acts for late night shows? Shaky usually has 7 or so a night across different venues in Atlanta. It’s sometimes acts that play the fest but they got a JPEGMAFIA show this year.
It kinda puts us at a disadvantage since they’ll all be conflicting but seems like a fun project and fairly harmless.
I don't think Lizzo absolutely wouldn't sub Coachella, but I do think she wouldn't under bjork.
I will say one last thing - I know Allison said she was bigger than Björk, I do disagree with her on that (though how those two would be billed relative to each other at Coachella, I have no idea). We picked Björk to have a niche headliner that brought something different to the table and at least for me personally, I wanted to pick Lizzo so we’d have a more current, bigger name sub, regardless of what headliner she subbed for.

You would have to count the venue as one of your five stages. We are just going to go later than FFF normally would so we can fit 8 acts on our 5 stages each day.
