Probably the wrong time to ask this, but 120 act seems like a lot for Shaky. Come the end of the draft, could we start taking acts for late night shows? Shaky usually has 7 or so a night across different venues in Atlanta. It’s sometimes acts that play the fest but they got a JPEGMAFIA show this year.
It kinda puts us at a disadvantage since they’ll all be conflicting but seems like a fun project and fairly harmless.
You would have to count the venue as one of your five stages. We are just going to go later than FFF normally would so we can fit 8 acts on our 5 stages each day.

We have a 5 stage limit?
That's right.
"Your agency (of no more than 1-3 individuals) has been selected to curate five stages of your choice for the 2022 festival season."
Have you guys looked at a Secret Solstice line-up prior picking the festival lol.
Yes we have. They’ve had acts as big as Radiohead in the past.
But we are allowed to make it better. We are also allowed to have fun. I think we’re successfully doing both.
I mean, are you sure? Cause they were like the most alternative and one of the most expensive headliners they've ever had, so that's kind of a weird argument. You're allowed to do whatever you want but that topline doesn't scream Secret Solstice at all to me looking at the past headliners nor is it realistic money-wise.
2020: Cypress Hill - Lil Pump ... 2019: Black Eyed Peas - Martin Garrix - Robert Plant 2018: Slayer - Stormzy - Gucci Mane 2017: Foo Fighters - The Prodigy - Richard Ashcroft - Rick Ross 2016: Radiohead - Of Monsters And Men - Deftones - Die Antwoord
edit: it's also like all male headliners which makes your headliner trio even stand out more.

Just want to remind everyone that realism IS NOT a part of the voting criteria.
Then what's the point of picking a certain festival and this draft? Then we can all do a lil Primavera here and there then.
That’s the only thing I never understood about this draft. Like sure people should have some leeway here and there but why pick real fest if realism isn’t a factor.
Like I honestly appreciate it a ton that Jeremy Fragrance went for Dave (coulda been Stormzy aswell, but he already headlined prior) for Glastonbury or etvolta going for Bad Bunny to counter some of the rock which forms the baseline for Mad Cool. If you wanted to pick a nice alternative festival, just pick one instead of going for a festival and pick three headliners that have barely anything to do with the festival. There were a ton out there to choose from. Idk. It's weird. We're up. Picks coming soon.
edit: and individually, you could make an argument for every name, but when you combine three, four names you're creating a vibe around them to form the base of your festival and some just.. don't fit together.

You pick a festival and draft within that festivals sphere but obviously this is made up Internet draft where you can put your own taste into the lineup. Obviously drafting Kenny Chesney for shaky would be stupid.

this is why i wanted someone to pick Hangout and draft the most Hangout lineup ever - it would be so much more fun to draft like, 311 and Greta Van Fleet than for some of you guys to recreate the exact same lineups you build for every single fest you draft for
