Very interesting article. There is way more involved in this situation than I realized, which I suppose is always the case.
Not to take any culpability off Hall, but wow the woman from Punk Talks really severely mishandled things at almost every step
Yea Punk Talks seems like it's totally fictitious and created to give herself some credibility. Like she was operating under Punk Talks, but it was really just her.
I gotta agree with p4k more here. Just feels like cheap nostalgia to me. I’m getting pretty tired of jazz rap tbh. Obviously a great record comes by in the genre and I like it but it’s a way oversaturated market.

I was not a huge fan either. It’s not bad but sounded like an okay album track not a single.
I don't know what designates a lead single anymore but Bubblin' feels like the smarter pick to push, even though I could see Tints getting more radio play
Half this board have probably never heard of Raconteurs- Jack White was essentially an equal partner/band member, but they'll release two new songs with areissue of their most recent album (10 years ago!). Consolers of the Lonely was my favorite album of 2008, and I regret not seeing them before Jack moved on to other things.
Then in 2019 the Raconteurs will release a new album. I'm already looking forward to next year. Time to start a "New Music in 2019" thread?
