Alt-J is such a forgettable band that no one can even remember to add them to mocks.
'member when alt-j was the next radiohead?
Honestly, after I read that first comment I thought the exact same thing. The first time I saw them I was blown away, at that Roo Thursday show, and then it just got stale the second and third time.

I'm a big fan. Saw them the first time at that show. Next was in a theatre and they killed it then.

just saw Brand New perform The Devil and God are Raging Inside of Me in full, and god damnit they still have it. fucking incredible band who bonnaroo needs to book before they split (which theyve been hinting at for a while now).

YES! I saw them in South Carolina on election night. It was a perfect show. They opened up with Mixtape then played a few hits off of Deja Entendu then proceeded into Devil and God are Raging Inside of Me. It was my second time seeing them and I honestly liked this show more. The entire album translated so well live. I also have to say that their stage show is perfect. The lighting and shadows are done so well and they really set the mood. I really want them in an evening tent similar to NMH.
If we could have one of the "mumble rap" (what would be a better term for that?) it would definitely be Young Thug. I'd prefer him Rae Sremmurd or Futire

Gucci Mane
See I'm a big fan of old Gucci. But I feel everything he's put out post prison is straight Doo Doo. That being said if he was on a lineup and there wasn't conflict I would love to sing "freaky girl" and say "lemmaaww" drunkenly during his set.

I've seen Rae Sremmurd open for a show once and they were fun. dunno that I'd care to see them at Bonnaroo though, but there are definitely worse acts.

I saw him recently and he played Freaky Girl, Photoshoot, Wasted, Lemonade, and Pillz. It was awesome.

Warpaint just accidentally self-confirmed themselves for Bonnaroo tonight in Nashville.
Actually a little surprised by that.
They were great in 2014, and I guess they did put out a new album, but not sure that they're going to move anywhere in the scheduling. Unless they get a LN set. Warpaint on Which stage would not be the best.

Nicolas Jaar needs to happen. I enjoy his studio stuff but it doesn't blow my mind or anything. His live show, on the other hand...holy shit.
How was that set last night? I was in Philly all weekend and was very tempted to buy a last minute ticket but had to head back to Jersey.
It was great! What I saw of it anyway. We missed the first part of his set for reasons and then when we got there my gf and I chilled a bit on one of the couches in the back of the TLA. She had worked a 12-hour day and I was pretty beat too so I didn't mind too much, but then when we got up and went to the bottom floor I experienced what I was missing. The way he pulls the drums out for a while to lull you into a false sense of security and then releases them all at once so they fuck you in the ear is amazing. I danced my ass off and was sad that I didn't get down there earlier. It was still a good night though and I hope to catch him again soon.
They were good this year on Who. I think I prefer them as a trio with just rhe older sister on acoustic guitar over playing with a backing band like I saw on a recent morning show.
