Hoping The Shins are booked this year given they are performing at the High Water Festival this spring which is an AC Entertainment event. Would be the perfect Sunday closer on the Which Stage.

They played which last time, it's been 5 long years....people are excited about a Shins return. I would be shocked if they aren't on the What pre-headline slot on Sunday this go around.

Based on this U2 was asking for about 2 million a show, and The Weeknd was asking for about a million. RHCP is probably 1.5 million, so the undercard should be similar to 2015 vs 2016.
Billy Joel- 2.4 million Mumford and Sons- 1.2 million Deadmau5- Couldn't find his numbers.
Rumored 2017 headliners
U2- 2.1 millon RHCP- 1.5 million Weeknd- 1.2 million
Roughly 5 million on headliners, and a million extra since they most likely won't be doing any upgrades on amenities lol. We should be in store for a solid Roo!

You are probably right. I'm hoping they close the Which Stage purely for selfish reasons as I love the vibe when everyone is winding down after several days on the Farm. Two of my all time favorite shows were in that slot (The Strokes and Phoenix).

Too much 2013
Bonnaroo tends to do this. 2015 was too much 2012. Alabama shakes, kendrick, moon taxi, flying lotus, trampled by turtles, dawes, punch brothers, gambino, gary clark jr, the war on drugs, reggie watts

After 2016.....a nostalgia trip to 2013 is fine with me lol.

I'm assuming Shovels & Rope are all but a lock for Roo for this same reason. Don't know if they've gotten big enough to take the Isbell early afternoon What slot or if they'll anchor the Sitch stage, but I'll be shocked if they aren't there.

I'm really hoping we don't lose the shins to shakey knees. They are one of the first bands I really got into back in the day.
What about John Legend? Could he ever appear on the undercard? New album coming out - just dropped a new song with Chance that is pretty good
There are lots of acts I prefer to John Legend. Even just in the R&B genre. I think he's got a great voice. But he's kinda boring. And that one huge single was played to death.

There's discussion on /r/indieheads right now about a potential Phoenix announcement soon as they recently updated their website and Facebook profile picture. New music from them would be great, Bankrupt! was fantastic. I wasn't at Roo '14 but I've heard great things about that show as well, would be cool to see them return.

I think them playing shaky knees counts them out unfortunately.
