What did you guys think of the festival overall? In all honesty. Want to improve every year.
Also $6 water blows. I'm completely against it.
Extremely satisfying and a little frustrating.
Pros: It's a music and arts festival in practice not just in name, small crowds make everything better, overall aesthetic is dope, layout is nice, stages are great, and they curated a unique and interesting lineup as usual Cons: No re entry despite being centrally located in a great neighborhood, the water crisis that everyone has talked about, and of course the cancellations/lack of communication regarding changing set times
Overall I had a really enjoyable experience! As a local I root for this festival to do well, and I really appreciate what they put together. I hope the cancellations were just a consequence of the hurricane, and not a re occurring issue in the years to come.

Pros: Great line up and the overall layout of this fest is amazing. It was my first time down here for it and I will be back each year if they book a few artists I like The installations were really cool and the cargo shipping containers entrance was awesome...totally iconic Great food options, cool vendors, very little sound bleed (that I could tell)
Cons: Coming from West Palm area, parking was frustrating. I've been to Wynwood about 2x a year, but still not familiar with the land. I wound up buying the parking pass, but once I saw where the lot was, I ate the money and looked for parking closer. I think doing a better job of communicating parking around the fest would be great, especially for those that can't just do a simply Lyft from somewhere in Miami or Miami Beach

PROS: - Lineup. Keep doing what you're doing there. - AC in Main Frame. That was so freaking clutch. Having that one AC tube shoot into the lobby was fucking heaven when people needed a quick cool off. - Sound. Everything sounded great with no bleed. - VIP. The complimentary beer/water/redbull were clutch.
CONS: - $6 water. This seriously has to go. You could probably sell 4x more water at $3 a piece and make a larger profit. It makes the festival look EXTREMELY greedy and its irresponsible with the type of scene a festival like this will attract. - Food/Drink prices in general. $8 beers/$10 1shot drinks was equally lame. If I weren't in VIP, I legit wouldn't have paid for a single beer at that price. - Scheduling. There was a handful of odd stage placements. I really dont even know if you need that big of an outdoor main stage to be honest. I'm assuming the acts like LCD and M83 required that size for their production. Also if you could put your main techno DJ of each night right after the outdoor headliner that would be great. I missed DJ Koze, Black Coffee, and Dixon cause I just couldnt stay up that late and was dead tired. I'd let a 2nd tier DJ get the late late night slot instead. - Food options. Only like 4 to choose from. Kept eating Shake Shack cause it was the cheapest. The pizza joint only sold whole pizza's at $14. Some kind of cheap food options inside the main outdoor/indoors areas would have been nice. - Vendor placement. That annex with the indoor art thing and the small outdoor stage with the TV/Bus just seemed oddly placed. I would have hardly gone over there if it wasnt for food. I bet Shake Shack would have sold 10x more than they did had they not been put in the back corner of the fest.
We were so close so many times thought the weekend. My friends and I only ended up in one of your photos though. (The one from Sophie with real yellow lighting that shows a lot of the crowd.) Great pics though! I'll have to make sure to meet up next time I'm at the same fest as you.
Great photos. My friends went this year and raved about it. I annoyingly booked my flight from London to Miami for Halloween...gonna have to hit it for ill points next year.
For those who enjoyed III Points and would like to experience us again before next year, we have Art Basel coming up in December. We are doing 11 individual parties / shows in our new property. Here is the list of announced.
Thursday 12/1:
TBA - hip-hop show
TBA - pitchfork-ish show
When do you think they will announce these two? After such a great time this past weekend, I'm all in with III Points productions from this point on

Definitely keeping a close eye on this one again this year. Give me some Kolsch, The Black Madonna, Joris Voorn, Moderat, Bob Moses, Roman Flugel, Boys Noize, Jamiroquai, Pan-Pot, Squarepusher, Talaboman

Yeah, if Jamiroquai comes over this year I'm there. It feels like they'll play some shows in the states this year.
Yeah, I'm confident that they'll book enough quality to get me and some friends back this year. I'm just too poor for the Prophet pass at the moment. Hopefully I'll be able to pull it together before price increases. I am hoping for Jamiroquai and Moderat.
