So is Aerosmith the only 30+ year act I didn't think of? Morrisey wouldn't headline. Duran Duran? Hard to tell which of these early 80s hitmakers remain/have returned big enough to headline.
U2
Well yeah,, my first statement was supposed to be a direct response to the u2 post above it I just didn't quote it. U2 would be a full skip for me. Can't stand that band.

I would love this, but I don't think it'll happen. Word is Mr. Perry is at work on a new solo album, and as big a deal as their reunion would be I don't see them headlinin' without releasin' another strong reunion record like Trial By Fire.
They had SNL on at work last night. Yikes Drake's performance was so bad. I felt like I was watching a drunk person sing karaoke. He was pretty flat too if I remember correctly. I'm very sleep deprived so I have not been in the best state of mind the past 72 hours. So basically, I hope Roo doesn't book him again

Aerosmith-Justin Timberlake-Arcade Fire
Since this is Aerosmith's farewell tour, I could see them hitting all three major festivals(Chella-Roo-Lolla), and going out with a bang. To my knowledge, they haven't played many popular US fests, and this makes so much sense for next year.
Justin Timberlake will be the first Pop headliner, he's from Tennessee, he's got country roots, and people love him. My guess is he's got a new album set for 2017 or maybe even late fall of 2016. I would be shocked if he didn't play Roo. Bonus: this would be his slow major US fest appearance.
Arcade Fire will return to the farm. I'm sure a lot of people are holding hope for Radiohead, but as history shows....they don't do tours twice in the same cycle. If they're playing Lolla,OSL, and ACL this year, they're not popping up at Roo or Chella next year since they were on Radiohead's last tour cycle in 2012. That's just the Radiohead way. Arcade Fire will make a big comeback after a 4 year hiatus, and a 6 year hiatus at Roo. It'll probably be similar to what just happened with Radiohead and their marketing they did. Arcade Fire will be on this bill and probably Lolla, since they skipped Roo and Lolla but played Chella.
They are taking a break. They said the world has had enough Foo Fighters for a couple years but will be back. I give it another 4-5 years with a new album
