All of those names are nice and stuff, but you guys should keep the Aerosmith Farewell Tour in mind.
I would be down. But I bet they go the way of AC/DC, Black Sabbath, The Who, David Gilmour, Guns N Roses, and every other legacy act this year and skip the festivals for their own shows.

AC/DC, Black Sabbath, the Who and Guns N' Roses all had some sort of festival stop on their itineraries.

Depeche Mode would be great but I would be pleasantly surprised to see roo book them. It feels like they have avoided bands like Depeche Mode and the Cure so far.
Did anyone else get the survey today that focused on the quality of the Lineup and ticket cost?
It is interesting that they sent that out at this point in the calendar. I wonder if this is annual market research that Bonnaroo/ Live nation typically performs or if this is in direct response to under performing ticket sales.
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
Levitation (stab in the heart today) Primavera Coachella
Edit: I haven't bought a ticket from Bonnaroo.com, I wonder if only people who haven't bought a ticket got sent the survey?
Damn, I'm feeling for ya, were you planning on attending Levitation? I'm thinking that is accurate because I haven't gotten my ticket yet and I got the email.

I think that's what it is, because I got one on a previous email which I purchased our first year - but not one on the email that I purchased tickets in presale this year

I literally just finished packing my car yesterday when I saw the news that it was cancelled.
Has anyone received the survey that's already purchased a ticket directly from Bonnaroo.com?

This is true for me. They obviously must be wanting to know why the people who have gone to multiple past Bonnaroos aren't planning on coming back. I wish that there were a comment section at the end where I could go into more detail about how conflicted I am about this year.
Has anyone received the survey that's already purchased a ticket directly from Bonnaroo.com?
I purchased directly off the website and received the Survey email... Filled it out. Strange that it is at this point in the game... Research for next year?

Did it get sent to the email account you purchased your ticket with this year though? Or did the survey get sent to an email account you used in a previous year, but not this year?

Yeah, one can extrapolate that with some of the stuff they've been doing like the ambassador program and this that tickets are moving much more slowly than in previous years. They want to know if it's the price or the Lineup. Hopefully they realize it's a little bit of both. And while I'm sure a lot of people in the past said on surveys that they want permanent bathrooms and showers, but they didn't understand that people wanted those fucking toilets at the then current ticket price without paying for parking and with a solid lineup.

My top 10 even though I'm probably forgetting things.
1. The Smiths (I know this wont happen, but people are putting RATM so whatever) 2. Daft Punk 3. Queens of the Stone Age 4. Radiohead 5. Beyonce 6. Gorillaz 7. Nine Inch Nails 8. Justin Timberlake 9. Jay Z 10. Bon Iver
My top 10 even though I'm probably forgetting things. 1. The Smiths (I know this wont happen, but people are putting RATM so whatever)
The difference to me is that I have a feeling RATM will play again at some point. There's no real animosity that I'm aware of between the members, and they've come around for things in the recent past. I tried to limit myself to one reunion and went with one I felt was fairly realistic. The Smiths are another member of my "Never happening" file. But who knows. Few people have said nastier stuff about each other in the press than Axl and Slash and they got that sorted out somehow

I think there's a decent chance they'll play Coachella eventually. But yeah, that's why I tried to keep everything else pretty realistic.
