I probably like wishlists too much. If you feel like playing along, Top 10 possible headliner wishlists. Ready....go.
well we definitely already lost 2 of my top ten this year. and because i'm particularly feeling the hurt right now of missing 2 icons it's something like these (in no order, haven't ever seen any of them):
Daft Punk Paul McCartney Rolling Stones Neil Young Elton John Timberlake Green Day (100% nostalgia) Nick Cave (the least iconic but very high on my personal list) GnR/Madonna/Beyonce (couldn't figure out which one to drop)
I'm one of 7 people who enjoyed it apparently. The crowd I was in was deeply into it so that probably helped me enjoy it.
I enjoyed it. I thought them trying to "jam" and then ending up actually playing a shorter set than their normal set was weird (still not sure how that happened?) Roxannnnoooooo. This and Modest Mouse in 05 are 2 roo shows that I've seen nothing but bad things said about them, but I enjoyed both.

Lots of good picks so far.
My Top 10 The Fugees David Gilmour Roger Waters Rage Against the Machine Will Smith The Cure Aerosmith Justin Timberlake Simon and Garfunkel Ringo Starr
It's safe to say that we would all prefer established bucket list type acts.
I'm just hoping for a cooler BLAM in 2017. Conan was such a buzzkill.
I want Wayhome's 360 video for the artist clues instead of those awful Instagram riddles! I think for BLAM a slow, all-day reveal of the lineup poster online would be just fine.

The Fugees/Simon and Garfunkle would put me over the moon, I've never even thought about either of these.

Both doubtful, unfortunately. But would be awesome.

Judging by recent comments, I think I'm unfortunately switching Simon & Garfunkel over to the "Not happening again" pile

I like Ringo, but I doubt he'd headline solo.
You're probably right, unfortunately. That would be a pretty great Sunday night Headliner with some bigger Friday and Saturday names.

Neil Young The Rolling Stones Daft Punk Gorillaz Roger Waters Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers My Morning Jacket (I know they won't but I have to) Radiohead Paul McCartney Jack White
I honestly had trouble thinking of 10 bands that I'd like to see that could headline so I had to rehash some that I've seen at Bonnaroo before that I would like to headline again. I really think that the headliner pool is shrinking drastically and the bands that are being moved up just aren't quite there yet. BTW, this year is the first year since I started attending that I've been genuinely excited about all of the headliners and also the only year where I haven't liked numbers 4 - 6.
I probably like wishlists too much. If you feel like playing along, Top 10 possible headliner wishlists. Ready....go.

so remove Nick Cave - i forgot it's headliners only. Replace him with Gorillaz.
1. Beyoncé 2. Ariana Grande 3. Lady Gaga 4. Rihanna 5. Ke$ha 6. Justin Timberlake 7. Madonna 8. Justin Bieber 9. Usher 10. Janet Jackson
also this is completely unrealistic but shania twain would be cool, too
I'm cool with most of those, but I'm kind of surprised you like Bonnaroo.
And what did Katy Perry ever do to you!!!!?
oh, I was (mostly) kidding. Also I don't listen to Katy Perry that often so I just completely forgot about her, lolol.
If I had to pick an actual top 10, I know The Cure would be towards the top of the list, but I can't even think of who else would really be on it. (ok, beyoncé for sure.)

1. Radiohead 2. Justin Timberlake 3. Jay-Z 4. St. Vincent(My dream headliner) 5. Rolling Stones 6. Gorillaz 7. Beyoncé 8. Lady Gaga 9. The Who 10. Daft Punk
I'm going to leave off Daft Punk cause we know it's not happening
1. Roger Waters 2. Rolling Stones 3. Fugees 4. The Cure 5. Radiohead 6. Arcade Fire 7. Jay-Z 8. Stevie Wonder 9. Beck 10. Fleetwood Mac Edit: narrowing down to 10 is super hard.
