You fucked up. Badly. You should reconsider the life choices that led you to this terrible decision.
Oh, were you at MMJ? Did you get in the pit? Was it a super-fucking-special Jim James throwdown and oh my god he looked right at me through his bedazzled sunglasses?!?!? No. MMJ played the same slightly above average too-loud rock show that you'll probably see 10 times this year and have probably already seen 30 or 40 times, you fucking weirdo. You will never see Atomic Bomb now. think about that.
Were you at SKBKRKTK? Did you bring your stupid fucking mask? Did you dance your ass off to a bunch of bullshit noise? I bet you just had a great time. You still fucked up.
Were you waiting in the pit line for childish gambino? God help you.

Shame. Shame. Shame.
Atomic Bomb v. MMJ was a major conflict before Bonnaroo. I went with Atomic Bomb because MMJ is going to be at Forecastle. It took approximately one song for me to know I had made the right decision. The show was so great.

Half a song in and any intention to split with SBTRKT were gone. Great music, great chemistry, and Money Marks energy may have been the greatest thing of the whole festival.

I'm well aware I fucked up. I felt like shit and the best thing about going to MMJ instead was being able to lay down and rest in the what field before Mumford.
I still know I fucked up.. Badly. One of my biggest regrets of the weekend.

I had a great time at Jamie XX > SBTRKT. Ended up about third row for sbtrkt and had an awesome time. Their cover of Weird Fishes was awesome too. Plus MMJ at Forecastle in a month.

My favorite show of the weekend.
I walked up around 8:00, saw how small the crowd was, and honestly feared for a moment that the show had canceled. When I saw the ginormous amount of instruments and microphones being set up on stage, I knew the Nigerian Funk dance party was going to happen.
The crowd wasn't huge, but you could tell everyone that was there WANTED to be there.
I was the buffoon in front of the soundboard dancing with a giant picture of Patrick Bateman's bloody face on my shirt.
I started at SBTRKT and bailed half way through for Atomic Bomb. Both were a lot of fun and I got to hear all the songs I was interested in hearing from both. Tears for Fears and Caribou were the best shows of the fest however.

Oh, was it awesome? It doesn't matter. You still fucked up. Accept it.

I took my evening break from Jaime xx to slayer. Listened to the Hawks game and had a couple drinks. Would have been a cool show, but pacing myself was the appropriate move for me to enjoy the entire weekend.

You skipped one of the best shows all weekend to pace yourself. I'm afraid to know what kind of other garbage you spent your precious energy on. Wuss.

You fucked up, but at least you corrected your fuckup before it was too late.

If you think MMJ is too loud you're the fucking wuss. It's never a fuck up to see them. That being said, Atomic Bom was my #2 set to see. Against anyone else I'd have been there.

Sorry that you missed the best set of the festival. I can understand why you would be salty about it. Vibes
Could see MMJ so many times this summer. Atomic Bomb was easily my number 1 show. That show was fucking incredible. I tried to tell my whole groop this. I informed them of at least 5 other MMJ shows. I explained what Atomic Bomb would be. Yet they all refused to believe me.... They all foolishly went to a show that will probably be at Bonnaroo multiple times in the next 5 years. They done all fucked up. Glad i did not.

It was supposed to start 30 mins earlier but yes it was.
Ah, right on. I do not regret missing one moment of that Superjam, but glad to hear D'Angelo was fun. He is playing up near me w/Lauryn Hill and Suicidal Tendencies in August for the Afropunk Festival. I'll probably get my fix in there.

I'm thinking about selling my Lolla tickets to see him at North Coast again

Woah. Must have been pretty epic if you are going to skip all of Lolla just for one more D'Angelo show.. Although I am sure you will make a pretty awesome profit selling off those lolla tickets too.
