Another day - still "Shipping Label Created" for wristbands and no update on camping passes.
At least your label was created. I'm telling you guys, they fucked something up with the shipments of passes and wristbands. Correct me if I'm wrong but nobody has gotten even an email about the camping passes yet. Add to that I'd say at least 50% haven't gotten an email about their wristbands. The last day your supposed to get the stuff in the mail is the 15th (I could have sworn I read the 17th somewhere but I was wrong). So that's 11 days (7 business days) to get over 45,000 wristbands out...not even counting the ones who got an email but not the actual shipment....and perhaps 30,000 camping passes out. A mega company could certainly do this, but there's nothing in RedFrogs past that leads me to believe there won't be a significant portion of the crowd that ends up at will call.
I hope I'm wrong. I am by no means an expert on the logistics of this. It just doesn't seem to add up to me.
I received the email notification for both my camping pass and wristband, but then again I ordered both at the same time.
I got my wristband a few days ago. I got an email saying my camping pass was being shipped at least 4 days ago and every time I check, it says the shipping label is still being made. Kind of frustrating. On a side note; I have this feeling that the schedule will be out today. But my feeling probably is wrong.

Calm Down Everyone. Red frog just ran out of ink in their printers for camping passes. They have ordered new ink from Amazon but unfortunately an intern forgot to use Prime. Red frog also has a 15 minute gap in Thursday they can't decide what to do with and they don't wanna release the schedule and then change that 15 minutes or the message board and fan page would go way overboard. - Mike G

Ya I totally get that, lyk if they release the schedule and then change something on it, ppl will def be sooooo much more upset than they are now without any schedule whatsoever. RedFrog and I are like two pez in a pod, gr8 minds think alyke 4evr!!!!!
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
I'm behind the Red Frog PR criticism because they are terrible but in fairness to them the festival itself has been well run the past 2 years I've been there and I expect the same this year. They also made lots of great improvements to the venue year to year.
I got two emails in the past week with notification of both camping and wristbands shipping but neither has actually shipped yet.
Yeah, and then his posts got deleted, and people were pissed, and then he got deleted and people were pissed, and people on his side that showed support were deleted and people are pissed. I learned today that they've had a change in admins so i dont know if that part of it. One thing ive learned as admin on the inforoo FB group, is that you just cant go deleting everything. Thats far more offensive to folks instead of having to read something they dont agree with.
There have been more than a few admin changes over there. I was one since the page started, but I stepped out a few months back because of too many other FF obligations. It's a fine line between over-managing a page and an all out free for all. People have told me they watch the page purely to see what crazy turmoil is gonna pop up next, but I hope it can regain some kind of focus and purpose.
Oh hey Greco! Ha. Don't know why I didn't put it together last night.

My campsite's email has been sent to my friend, but I and another of our group hasn't gotten our passes and I have yet to get an email about my overnight parking pass
I promise, passes are being shipped expeditiously. I haven't even gotten my email yet, but I'm confident they'll get here in the next two weeks. Yes, they are definitely cutting it a lot closer this year, but in the next two weeks people will be getting their stuff in time to leave for Dover. Camping started going out the other night by the way. Yes, people want peace of mind, but what other mail order item do you ever see people freaking out about as much as this? It's gonna be fine, you'll see.

Oh I'm not worried about it not getting to me haha. I'm leaving for Dover the 17th regardless, I don't doubt it'll get here before then. I'm more worried that I still need to make a freaking flag pole for my campsite ><
I know this has been beat to death, but Firefly responded to somebody's facebook comment "Hey Brandon and Dean! Is it still happening...? Is the sky still blue? Absolutely. If you are waiting on your passes still they are currently shipping. You will receive an email as soon as yours has been shipped. In addition, we'll be releasing the set schedule shortly! See you there."
Could be promising that it will be today or tomorrow, but at this point it's not even worth it to get your hopes up for the schedule.

I'm a little worried not because it's me specifically but because of the timeline and sheer numbers involved. I'll be ok when the schedule comes out in 45 minutes.

I told you guys I had a good feeling! Many updates can either be a good thing or something for them to distract us with because they still aren't done with the schedule.

Starting to regret buying into this fest. I can't imagine the actual fest will go as smooth as some of you have described in years past. It's been nothing but fuck up after fuck up. There is now way I'm getting my passes before I fly out and will call will inevitably be a cluster fuck of epic proportions. I'm sure it will be fun if everything works out but dealing with all the dumb shit they've done is making me lose interest. I'd sell my pass if I fucking had it. At least Coachella passes go on sale today.

I know it seems hard to believe but it's true. Once you actually get there and get all set up - the actual fest itself is pretty great. Great sound, most stages have screens, there's tents with AC (DOGFISH!) and copious amounts of shade.
If you have a VIP pass can you still go camp with your friends in premier?
I know it's somewhat a silly question, complicated situation.
I don't think your ticket type affects camping at all, you should be fine. They're so lenient in camping, you can essentially have as many people as you want at a campsite.
