Definitely reading into it too much. There has been an epic troll job harassing some of the frequent posters on the fan page and threads are getting deleted left and right. Gofundme kid was one of their targets. I love the fact that instead of just ignoring it and letting it go away they tried to win an internet argument. Oh well some good entertainment either way to pass the time.
I was also stalking the app for a schedule leak and found they updated most of the food vendors with menus and pricing. Also thought it was interesting that the Cupcake wine description mentioned they will be selling wine by the bottle. Can't see that ending well

This is just so bad, I was literally physically cringing as I tried to get through it. Why is he perched on the railing like a little bird, not at the fucking dj stand at least pretending to have some semblance of musical producing/mixing talent??

I will be attending both festivals again this year! I also upgraded to grab premier camping this year. Its the year of upgrades for me as I am going VIP to Roo. RTJ's hype seems to be a Roo thing. I for one am aboard they hype train as I watched their Coachella set. I have the FF App and RTJ is the 44th most popular act for FF. Just to show you who we are dealing with as a fan base. Paul Fucking McCartney is the 14th most liked act of FF. My jaw hit the floor on that one. Bastille, ZEDD, and AWOLNATIOn rank higher than McCartney.

TIRED!!! Honestly I felt like the two weeks had been fantastic. To see so many good bands and to have the vibe that the two brought. Its exactly why I am doing the "Double Dip" again this year. Best two weeks of 2014 in my opinion

I live in Va. 8 hours to Roo and 4 hours to FF. Although this year I am adding 2 and a half hours to my Roo trip as I am seeing Mumford & Sons in Maryland on the 10th then driving through the night

Agreed, did it last year and am repeating both again this year. Although I wish firefly was before roo cause roo just blows firefly away in some aspects. Was awesome to carry that roo vibe into firefly though.
I've actively avoided the FF fb fan page for months - with good reason. But I just put in my request to join a second ago, so that I can see what all this commotion is you guys are speaking of (then might promptly exit the group soon after)

I was actually at work during all of that but keeping track on my phone. Crazy stuff. The fan page really can be kind of a free for all at times. I used to be an admin there and stepped away to deal with other responsibilities. It used to be a lot more light-hearted over there, but with the numbers climbing, it seems like the troll/regular poster ratio is climbing. I wish it was set up as a FB community instead of a group. I think that format has more controls. Who the hell knows. I was really just trying to quell the chaos with some humor, but that was a runaway freight train filled with bullsh&t

Yeah, and then his posts got deleted, and people were pissed, and then he got deleted and people were pissed, and people on his side that showed support were deleted and people are pissed. I learned today that they've had a change in admins so i dont know if that part of it. One thing ive learned as admin on the inforoo FB group, is that you just cant go deleting everything. Thats far more offensive to folks instead of having to read something they dont agree with.

There have been more than a few admin changes over there. I was one since the page started, but I stepped out a few months back because of too many other FF obligations. It's a fine line between over-managing a page and an all out free for all. People have told me they watch the page purely to see what crazy turmoil is gonna pop up next, but I hope it can regain some kind of focus and purpose.
Another day - still "Shipping Label Created" for wristbands and no update on camping passes.
At least your label was created. I'm telling you guys, they fucked something up with the shipments of passes and wristbands. Correct me if I'm wrong but nobody has gotten even an email about the camping passes yet. Add to that I'd say at least 50% haven't gotten an email about their wristbands. The last day your supposed to get the stuff in the mail is the 15th (I could have sworn I read the 17th somewhere but I was wrong). So that's 11 days (7 business days) to get over 45,000 wristbands out...not even counting the ones who got an email but not the actual shipment....and perhaps 30,000 camping passes out. A mega company could certainly do this, but there's nothing in RedFrogs past that leads me to believe there won't be a significant portion of the crowd that ends up at will call.
I hope I'm wrong. I am by no means an expert on the logistics of this. It just doesn't seem to add up to me.

My campsite's email has been sent to my friend, but I and another of our group hasn't gotten our passes and I have yet to get an email about my overnight parking pass
